Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park About

Finding Your Spot: An Overview of Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park in Fremont, Nebraska

For many of us in Nebraska who live the RV lifestyle or are looking for a longer-term, affordable mobile home solution, finding the right park can be a crucial decision. Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park in Fremont, NE, presents itself as an option for those seeking a rural setting with the possibility of extended stays. While it aims to offer a peaceful environment, it's important for prospective residents and short-term visitors to have a clear and factual understanding of what to expect based on real-world experiences.

This park appears to cater to a specific demographic – those who prioritize a quiet, country location and potentially budget-friendly rates for their RV or mobile home. While direct review information is limited, the feedback available paints a picture that emphasizes communication with the owner and preparation for certain environmental conditions. Our aim here is to provide a balanced and informative guide for our fellow Nebraskans considering Peaceful Acres.

Location and Accessibility: The Rural Route to Fremont

Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park is located at 4924 N County Rd 26, Fremont, NE 68025, USA. This address places it in a rural area outside the immediate urban sprawl of Fremont, providing the "peaceful acres" environment its name suggests. For those who appreciate a less crowded, more natural setting, this location can be a significant draw.

However, accessibility, particularly the condition of the road leading to the park, is a point of contention for some visitors. Feedback indicates that the gravel road to the park can be "horrible" and significantly affect vehicles, describing it as "the worst gravel road I have ever seen." This suggests that while the park is physically located in Nebraska, accessing it might require navigating a challenging rural path. For locals, this means being prepared for a potentially bumpy ride and ensuring your vehicle is suited for unpaved, rough roads, especially if you plan frequent trips in and out of the park. It is approximately 2 miles northeast of Fremont, with "two miles to four lane access to Fremont & Omaha," suggesting improved road conditions once off the county road. This allows for relatively easy connection to Fremont's amenities and the wider Omaha metropolitan area.

Services Offered: Basic Comforts in a Rural Setting

While a detailed list of amenities typical for an RV park is not readily available from public reviews, the nature of a "Mobile Home Park" suggests a focus on long-term stays with essential utilities. Based on the available information and typical offerings for such parks, we can infer some key services:

  • RV Sites / Mobile Home Lots: The park likely provides designated lots for RVs and mobile homes. One source mentions "extra large lots with mature trees" and "50a RV post." This indicates that electrical hookups are available, and the spacious lots could be appealing for those seeking more room. It also notes "four season water, sewer, trash, and electric."

  • Utilities: Essential utilities such as electricity (50-amp mentioned), water, and sewer connections are expected to be available at the sites, catering to the needs of RVs and mobile homes. However, a review specifically mentions "the water quality is awful," which is a significant point for consideration. It's unclear if this is a general issue or specific to certain times/sites, but it warrants direct inquiry.

  • Trash Service: "Trash service included" is explicitly mentioned in one detail, which is a convenient amenity for residents.

  • Pet-Friendly: One source mentions the property is "pet friendly." While dogs barking "non stop" is mentioned in a negative review, the allowance of pets is a positive for many travelers and residents.

  • Park Custodian: The presence of a "park custodian" is mentioned, suggesting on-site management or maintenance.

  • Tornado Shelters: A crucial safety feature in Nebraska, "tornado shelters" are mentioned as available, providing peace of mind during severe weather.

The lack of explicit mention of traditional RV park amenities like shower houses, laundry facilities, or recreational areas (e.g., playgrounds, clubhouses) suggests that if these exist, they are not primary highlights or might be very basic. Prospective residents should inquire directly about the availability and condition of these services.

Features and Highlights: What Makes Peaceful Acres Unique

Despite some noted challenges, Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park offers features that could be appealing to certain individuals or families looking for a specific type of living or camping experience in Nebraska.

  • Rural, Quiet Environment: The name "Peaceful Acres" suggests a tranquil setting, away from the noise and congestion of city life. This is a significant highlight for those seeking quietude and a connection to the countryside. "Rural, quiet, large 1/4 acre lots, with mature trees" is mentioned.

  • Spacious Lots: The presence of "extra large lots" and "large 1/4 acre lots with mature trees" provides more space and privacy than many typical RV parks or mobile home communities.

  • Long-Term Stay Focus: While it may accommodate some RVs, the overall description as a "Mobile Home Park" implies a focus on long-term residency, which can be ideal for those seeking a stable base in the Fremont area.

  • Owner Accessibility: One review notes the "Owner is nice and easy to deal with," indicating a responsive and approachable management, which can greatly enhance a resident's experience.

  • Affordability: While not explicitly stated, mobile home parks often offer more economical long-term housing solutions compared to traditional housing or higher-end RV resorts, making it a budget-friendly option for some.

  • Proximity to Fremont: Despite the challenging access road, its location within a few miles of Fremont allows residents to easily reach local amenities, shopping, and services in the city.

It is critical for anyone considering Peaceful Acres to balance these potential positives against the noted concerns regarding road quality, water quality, and noise from barking dogs. A direct visit and conversation with the owner or current residents would provide the most accurate assessment.

Promotions or Special Offers: Direct Inquiry Recommended

As a mobile home park that also accommodates RVs, Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park is unlikely to have public "promotions" or "special offers" in the same vein as a large recreational RV resort. Instead, its "offer" would likely be its competitive monthly or long-term rates for lots, possibly with included utilities.

The primary benefit for potential residents would be the affordability of the lots and the inclusion of services like water, sewer, electric, and trash, as mentioned in some listings. For specific pricing, availability, and any potential long-term lease agreements, it is essential to contact the park management directly. There is no publicly available information on seasonal discounts or introductory rates, which is common for smaller, privately owned parks focused on long-term stays.

Contact Information: Connecting with Peaceful Acres

For those interested in learning more about Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park, discussing lot availability, or inquiring about specific amenities and pricing, direct contact is the most reliable method.

Address: 4924 N County Rd 26, Fremont, NE 68025, USA
Phone: While a direct phone number for the RV park aspect isn't publicly listed, details for the owner/management are often available through mobile home park directories or real estate listings related to the park. One listing provides a number: 402-512-4439.

Given the specific feedback regarding water quality, road conditions, and dog noise, it is highly advisable to communicate openly with the owner or management before committing to a stay. A personal visit to assess the conditions, especially the road and sites, would be invaluable for anyone considering this location.

Conclusion: Is Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park Right for Nebraska Locals?

For us Nebraskans, navigating the choices for RV parks or mobile home communities means weighing various factors, and Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park in Fremont offers a unique proposition. It caters to those who are genuinely seeking a quiet, rural setting with "extra large lots and mature trees," and potentially an affordable long-term living solution. The explicit mention of included utilities (water, sewer, electric, trash) and on-site tornado shelters adds tangible value for residents. The reported ease of dealing with the owner is also a significant positive, suggesting approachable management.

However, it's crucial for locals to be fully aware of the challenges highlighted in reviews: the "awful" water quality, the "horrible" gravel road leading to the park that can be damaging to vehicles, and continuous dog barking. These are significant practical considerations that could impact daily life and vehicle maintenance.

Ultimately, Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park appears most suitable for Nebraska locals who prioritize a secluded, country living environment and potentially long-term affordability, and who are prepared to manage or overlook the issues with road access, water quality, and potential noise from pets. It is not a luxury RV resort, but rather a practical, no-frills option that appeals to a specific need. A direct visit and open communication with the park management are highly recommended to ensure it aligns with your expectations for a "peaceful" home.

Owner is nice and easy to deal with; however, the water quality is awful, the sites are a muddy mess and there are dogs barking non stop. The road to get there is horrible and will beat your vehicle to death, plus it will never be clean. I understand it's down a gravel road, but it is the worst gravel road I have ever seen...and I travel the whole country for work.

Unbelievably peaceful and quiet. Large Lots. Also storm shelters available at North and South Lots. I would love to see them grade the roads. A little bumpy. Could use a few more street lights around the property. Are you would also be nice to have a cut through Road between the North and South Lots so you didn't have to go back out to County Road 26 to get to the other side if you're driving. Also my friends tease me because I tell them I live in peaceful Acres and they tell me it sounds like a retirement home. Hahaha

It's really nice at peaceful acres. Plenty of space in between lots, quiet, and it's really relaxing. The manager on site is accomodating and the owner is nice. My children love playing catch in the open fields inbetween the north and south lot. It's not a fancy RV resort so there is no playground, swimming pool but that is fine for our family. But the rates are good, people are nice, and the lot size is awesome.

Horrible management. Can’t answer question. Doesn’t get back to you. Doesn't answer the phone. You’ll need a perfect credit score to get a spot here. Very bias.
