Peninsula Point RV & Tiny Home Luxury Resort About

For Texans eager to experience the allure of lakeside living, whether in their own RV or a charming tiny home, finding a destination that truly delivers on its promise of luxury and convenience is key. Peninsula Point RV & Tiny Home Luxury Resort in Kerens, TX, presents an intriguing option for those looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Richland-Chambers Lake. While the concept aims for a high-end experience, it's important to approach with a clear understanding of what this developing resort offers.

Introduction / Overview

Peninsula Point RV & Tiny Home Luxury Resort is envisioned as a premier lakefront destination on Richland-Chambers Lake, offering a blend of RV sites and tiny home accommodations. The resort aims to provide a unique "luxury" experience, distinguishing itself by offering options for guests to bring their own RVs onto "exceptional RV pads with stunning views," or to rent fully equipped "Luxury RVs" or "Tiny Homes" for a hassle-free vacation. The overall idea is to create a comprehensive outdoor escape where comfort meets natural beauty. While the resort's ambition is grand, some public feedback suggests that ongoing development and maintenance of online resources might not always align with the "luxury" branding. Reviews mention concerns about website maintenance and the perceived pace of project completion. However, the core amenities and the setting on Richland-Chambers Lake still present a compelling opportunity for lake enthusiasts. The resort aims to cater to those seeking a unique way to experience the great outdoors without sacrificing the comforts of home, ideal for couples, families, or anyone desiring a blend of outdoor adventure and relaxation in a unique community setting.

Location and Accessibility

Peninsula Point RV & Tiny Home Luxury Resort is strategically located at 5000 Waterfront Rd, Kerens, TX 75144, USA. This address places it directly on the shores of Richland-Chambers Lake, one of Texas's largest inland reservoirs, renowned for its excellent fishing and boating opportunities. The "Waterfront Rd" designation immediately signals its prime lakeside position, offering direct access to water activities and scenic views. Kerens, Texas, provides a small-town setting, allowing for a peaceful retreat away from major urban centers, while still being accessible. The resort's location means it's generally within a reasonable driving distance from larger cities in Central and North Texas, making it a viable weekend getaway or an extended stay destination for Texans. Access to the resort would typically involve local roads leading from nearby state highways or even I-45, depending on the direction of travel. Its proximity to the lake, being "surrounded by the lake on three sides," enhances its appeal for water-centric activities and offers a sense of being truly immersed in the lakeside environment. While specific travel times to major cities are not provided, the location offers a balance between seclusion and practical accessibility to necessary services and supplies in Kerens or neighboring towns.

Promotions or Special Offers

Based on available information, Peninsula Point RV & Tiny Home Luxury Resort's promotional activities appear to focus on seasonal or direct booking incentives, rather than broad, ongoing public offers. For instance, a past promotion indicated "30% off your stay" for booking two or more nights during a specific winter period. This suggests that the resort may offer limited-time discounts, especially during off-peak seasons or for longer stays.

Pricing for RV lots and tiny home rentals typically varies by site type (e.g., lakefront, pull-through, paved), amenities (e.g., private dock, fire pit), and the duration of the stay. Rates can range, for example, from around $65 per night for a "Ready for RV Lot" to upwards of $199 per night for a "Lakefront Luxury RV" or Tiny Home.

Given the nature of the resort, which includes lot sales alongside rentals, promotions might also apply to purchase incentives for interested buyers. However, for those looking to rent, it is highly advisable to:

Contact Directly:

Call the resort’s listed phone numbers to inquire about any current promotions, special rates for extended stays, or last-minute deals.

Check Booking Platforms:

While their direct website has faced some maintenance issues, third-party booking sites like Airbnb, Vrbo, or Hipcamp might list specific deals from individual lot or tiny home owners within the resort.

Always confirm the exact terms, dates, and availability of any advertised offers directly with the resort or the specific rental owner to ensure accuracy.

Contact Information

For inquiries, reservations, or to learn more about lot sales or rental options at Peninsula Point RV & Tiny Home Luxury Resort, please use the following contact details. Note that while their website has shown some technical issues, these phone numbers are publicly available and typically connect you with management or booking agents:

  • Address: 5000 Waterfront Rd, Kerens, TX 75144, USA
  • Phone: (682) 286-8482 (This number is frequently listed on various platforms as the primary contact.)
  • Alternative Phone: (469) 401-1756 (Also found on some directories for reservations.)

Given the feedback about website issues, direct phone communication is likely the most reliable way to get up-to-date information on availability, pricing, and specific amenities for your desired stay.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

For Texans seeking a unique lakeside escape that blurs the lines between traditional camping and comfortable resort living, Peninsula Point RV & Tiny Home Luxury Resort presents an intriguing option on Richland-Chambers Lake. Its suitability for locals lies in its specialized offerings and prime waterfront location. For RV owners across Texas, the availability of "spacious, clean, and full hook-up RV pads" means a comfortable and convenient base to enjoy one of the state's largest and most popular lakes. This is especially appealing for those who appreciate dedicated, well-equipped sites rather than more rustic camping experiences.

Beyond RVs, the option to rent "Luxury RVs" or "Tiny Homes" provides a fantastic opportunity for Texans who desire a unique vacation without owning a specialized vehicle. This caters to families or individuals looking for a "hassle-free" lake getaway with "all the creature comforts of home." The resort's amenities, including a swimming pool, clubhouse, playground, and especially the dog park, enhance the appeal for families and pet owners, ensuring there's something for everyone. Crucially, its location on Richland-Chambers Lake offers direct access to premier fishing, boating, and stunning "nice sunsets," which are cherished experiences for Texans. While online presence might be a work in progress, the promise of a gated community, available private piers on some lots, and a genuine lakeside immersion makes Peninsula Point RV & Tiny Home Luxury Resort a promising destination for locals seeking a blend of outdoor adventure and comfortable relaxation in Central Texas.

The idea of this resort is fantastic. I fear it might be a pump-and-dump by the developers, however -- where they propose this beautiful resort with wonderful amenities and then start selling lots... but once the lot sales start to slow down you find that the developer starts to put less and less effort into the entire project. Take the website as a prime example: Go there and look at the "Properties for Sale" section. There are some listings, and the page claims to be updated OFTEN... but if you click on any of the links for the listings you're taken to a real estate page claiming that listing is no longer available. Hmmmm. Then you look at the copyright on the website (at the bottom) and notice they couldn't even bother to update that one item for the past two years (it says 2023 currently). When you go to the "Contact" page -- possibly THE most important page of any resoft... and you get a "404 Error - Page Not Found". Not being able to reach the developer or proper management is NOT a good sign. It looks like they're done with this project as they feel they're not going to get much more value out of it... so they're more than happy to just walk away and let it crumble. At least, that's the perception they're giving by not maintaining.

The park itself is not luxury at all. All rv sites are gravel very close together. No shade or trees. Clubhouse looks nice but a lot a smaller than pictures show. Not much to do there just a pool. We did stay in air b&b tiny home.

This place has different rentals through Airbnb . Unfortunately lot 49 was the worst Airbnb I've ever stayed at The bathroom septic smelled horrible . Both sinks clogged and when we ask for help they gave us a plunger and drano and told us to go out behind the RV and pull on levers, didn't work ! The couch was very nasty and the beds were hard as the ground. Be ware the only door that stays shut will lock you out the other door wont stay cclosed unless you lock it. Sooo we got locked out for 3 hours our very first night. The grill had trash in it and our RV was leaking everywhere. I gave the resort a 3stars because the road to get to the resort is really bad . Don't know why they haven't fixed it. The people running this place are the sweetest. Just find another rental other than lot 49. Stinks so bad we could barely breathe or get the odor out of our nose.

Were visited on a cold and rainy weekend so there's that. But the place was beautiful and Colton, the park ranger, was very nice and super helpful. We had rented spot #13 and it was amazing. Very nice covered area with a picnic table and granite bars on both sides with bar stools and a fire pit with a private fishing dock. We will definitely check it out again next summer. The main road going up to there leaves a lot to be desired. So go slow lol. Overall fantastic place.
