First time home buyer and this is really a great community. Mostly retired friendly neighbors in the area. I had never bought a home before and this was a great affordable option. Lot rent, and my mortgage is still cheaper than renting.... And I own it. Rachel in the main office is so nice with any issues or questions I have. Of course there are a few bad eggs in the neighborhood just like any other neighborhood. Rachel makes sure that tenants are following the rules of this community, to uphold the nice standards we all expect. I read somewhere on here about people complaining about not working with tenants. This is not true, just like everywhere else there are rules that need to be followed. These are typically the people getting in trouble having construction trailers, garbage, and junk pilled up in there yards for all the world to see. This is against the community rules. We all have a copy that we all signed. This is a great neighborhood. Clean, friendly, and Rachel organizes regular community events, such as back to school drives, cookouts, water balloon fights for the kids, exc. Im grateful that I have found this place and call it home.

Dutch Harbor is NOT a place i want as a forever home, The trailer park was bought by a large corporation RHPproperties. Since then they changed and added rules, like a huge one that was a major impact was that we can no longer have a camp fire. Its just no longer a friendly environment. Our lot fees since the take over have gone up in cost dramatically, we were paying $400 and now it's around $600 per month. The playground has deteriorated in the past 2 years. I don't consider this a "home sweet home" location anymore!

They don't work with tenants.Only worried about rent check. We currently live in the park,we bought a different house in the park and sold ours. They are telling us it takes 4 weeks to get lease done. Then told people must move out of the house we are buying,we must move into our house ,and person buying our house must ALL move the same day.Who ever dream 3 houses expected to move the same time.i said it was crazy, and Manager says rules are rules and I will evict all of you if they can't be followed. There is no corporate number to try and get answers.People in russia have more rights

The place is trashed; garbage, junk, mowers sitting out while grass grows around them, dilapidated trailers sitting empty, yards not mowed for weeks, weeds over taking the entire place; homes and yards getting completely covered by weed vines, empty homes have 6 inch tree sprouts in the gutters. The manager and maintenance man drive through 2 and 3 times a day yet this place still looks awful. It's so bad, a person doesn't even have to go into the park to see how terrible it looks. One can just drive around the outside on the road and see the huge amount of junk, bags of garbage, over grown grass, plywood, refrigerator sitting outside an empty home for weeks. It looks disgusting from every angle.
