Location and Accessibility

Apple Creek Campground is strategically located at N3831 County Rd U, De Pere, WI 54115, USA. This places it ideally between two of Northeast Wisconsin's major hubs: Green Bay and Appleton. Its position makes it an exceptionally convenient choice for those planning to attend events at Lambeau Field, explore the attractions of downtown Green Bay, or visit the many offerings in Appleton. Specifically, it's about 5.4 miles from Lambeau Field, making it a popular choice for football fans during game season.

Access to the campground is straightforward. From Highway 41, you would take Exit 154 (County Road U) and travel northwest for approximately a quarter mile to reach the entrance. However, for those prioritizing convenience and quick travel to nearby cities, this location is a significant advantage. It allows campers to easily venture out for shopping, dining, entertainment, and exploring local landmarks like the De Pere Riverwalk & Wildlife Fishing Pier, Bay Beach Amusement Park, or the National Railroad Museum, all within a short drive. I’d stay here again, nice pit stop on our way from Illinois to Michigan with a pool and kids play area. You can hear the road but to be expected. Great WiFi

We stayed here for a few months to attend Packer games in summer and fall of 2024. I booked over 9 months ahead. When we were 10 miles from arriving we got a call saying they gave our spot away. They would find us one but we would have to move in a few days. I specifically told them that we work during the day so we can only move at night. They checked and said that would not be a problem because the temp site did not have someone in it until the day after we moved. The day we were to move I went to the office to find out where we were going. She said that the person that is in what was supposed to be our spot had not left yet but as soon as they did (checkout time) we would have to move because someone else was coming in to our temp spot that day. I told the employee that we worked. She did not care in the slightest and just shrugged. I told her that to move we would both have to take off from work. Again, she shrugged. I asked if there was someone I could talk to who would at least apologize to me about the situation. She said, “I am the only one here.” No apology, no empathy, nothing. This was just how our stay started. It only got worse. While this is nice and close for a Packer game, it is not worth it. Lots of permanent residents in rvs from the 80s and before. Sites are not close to level. The people next to us were staying in an early 80s bus with no water and a hole in the floor. They banged, sawed, welded, etc everyday. Between that and the fact that it sounds like the highway is right next to you, it was not relaxing at all. Junk everywhere. Do yourself a favor, s stay anywhere else.

We are not full-timers; just passing through on a cross country trip and rely on full-hookups to “stay fresh”. Also, didn’t avail ourselves of water aerobics. We presume because we have a large Super-C, we were placed in the “upper lot” where there is no bath house or sewer hookup. While the walk to the bath house in the lower lot is a lovely stroll through the trees, it is not one I wanted to take at 0630 when I tend to get in. Also, we had to wait till we were leaving to drive through the lower lot to dump our tanks. One reviewer noted great security; we stayed two nights and, while there may have been someone driving through, no one so much as stopped to make sure we were settling in. Pretty park but transient travelers do not seem to be a priority as long-terms that keep sites filled.

We stayed here this past late summer early fall, and overall, it's not a place I would stay again. Here are some of the things we experienced during our two month stay. 1st the pool was very nice during the warmer months. The ladies on the front office are generally nice. There was one lady you just always seemed a little put out, which was disappointing. During our first week, we learned that they do a pump out for sewage, and the schedule is very odd, and the time they come is always changing, our tanks were also never emptied fully which did cause some stress for our grey tank. Our first week there, I called the office to see what time the tanks got emptied since I had never seen a setup like this before. When the dump guy finally came around, he started yelling at me, saying that I told on him like a child throwing a tantrum. He then began yelling at me and being completely unprofessional. It's shocking that they would hire someone like this. The spots are extremely close together, and being directly on the interstate, it was incredibly loud and hard to sleep or enjoy your outside area with semi trucks and cars flying by all day and night. There seems to be a lot of interesting fulltimers at the park (we also fulltime) there were some very obvious drug sites, and one family had a child that was attacking and choking younger kids. It got so bad that no one even had their kids out because it wasn't safe. There were kids cussing and harassing other young ones. Two kids got choked, and one 4 year old passed out because of it... I couldn't even let my kids ride their bikes around the park because it wasn't safe for them. Many parents complained to the office, and their response was it's up to the parents to handle it... it got so bad that a cop was doing rounds for about a week. The smells here are pretty unbreable. Between the smell of them dumping the tanks and the cow farm up wind, it was very unenjoyable. We only stayed as long as we did because we had family in the area. Overall, I would never stay here again. They also charge for showers that aren't cleaned regularly. every time we went, they were dirty, and they ate your quarters. I gave two stars since the pool was nice, but honestly, that was the only part that was nice. Even the park is rundown and old.

Love the pool and morning water aerobics, VERY friendly staff and security patrol. Very accommodating to concerns and needs. Many shaded sites! Free coffee rounds on Saturday. One of the BEST managed campgrounds we have been to in our 3 years of full time RVing.
