Pineglen Motorcoach & RV Park About

For Floridians, the call of the Emerald Coast, with its sugar-white sands and emerald-green waters, is often irresistible. When planning an escape to this iconic part of our state, finding the perfect RV park that offers both convenience to attractions and a tranquil place to unwind is paramount. Pineglen Motorcoach & RV Park, located in Panama City Beach, Florida, aims to provide just that – a serene retreat nestled among palm and pine trees, offering a quieter camping experience just minutes from all the action. This park is designed for those who appreciate a relaxed atmosphere, a friendly community, and the comforts of modern RV amenities, making it a compelling choice for locals seeking a memorable Florida getaway.

Pineglen Motorcoach & RV Park has a history of being a "cute and well-maintained spot" with "incredibly friendly and welcoming" staff, creating a positive first impression for many visitors. Its charm lies in its "rustic in nature" appeal combined with an emphasis on a relaxed environment. A significant highlight for many is that "all the sites were well shaded," offering a welcome respite from the Florida sun. The park also fosters a strong sense of community, with one reviewer happily recounting, "We went to a potluck during our stay and ended up making some new friends, which was such a nice surprise." This indicates a place where campers can truly feel at home and interact with fellow travelers.

However, it's also important to acknowledge recent feedback. A long-time visitor, while appreciative of the "very nice people," expressed concerns in June 2025 about the maintenance of the grounds, specifically noting an increase in "mosquitos that will carry you away," "very bad bathrooms," and areas around the lake that have become overgrown with "weeds sticker bushes" making it difficult to walk dogs. This individual hopes for a cleanup, indicating that while the park has a strong foundation and friendly management, recent upkeep has been a point of concern. This honest feedback provides a balanced perspective, acknowledging past positive experiences while highlighting recent areas for improvement. It suggests that while the park aims for a high standard, maintenance can fluctuate, and potential visitors in 2025 should verify current conditions if these factors are critical to their stay. The park proudly emphasizes its focus on guest enjoyment and relaxation, stating "Our No. 1 goal is to ensure your enjoyment and relaxation. We always keep the park groomed and bathrooms are clean and modern. The pool area has been upgraded and we've added a sunning area too."

The location of Pineglen Motorcoach & RV Park is one of its strongest assets, offering an excellent balance between convenience and a relatively peaceful setting. You'll find it at 11930 Panama City Beach Pkwy, Panama City Beach, FL 32407, USA. This places the park directly on US Highway 98, a major artery, making it incredibly easy to access for RVs of all sizes.

Despite being on a main thoroughfare, the park is "nestled away among the palm trees, pine trees and fishing ponds," providing a sense of seclusion. For Floridians, this means being "just minutes from the best white sand beaches, golf courses, restaurants and shopping malls that Panama City Beach has to offer." Popular attractions like Gulf World Marine Park and Shipwreck Island Waterpark are nearby, as are extensive dining and retail options, including Pier Park. While one review mentioned "traffic when trying to leave the park; it can get pretty congested," this is a common characteristic of popular areas like Panama City Beach and is often a small trade-off for such convenient access to a wide array of amenities. The park's website explicitly states, "We are friendly, easy to get to, and hard to leave," underscoring its accessible yet inviting nature. The proximity to various state parks like St. Andrews State Park and Camp Helen State Park also provides ample opportunities for exploring natural beauty beyond the immediate beach scene, making it a truly versatile location for a Florida RV adventure.

  • Big Rig Friendly: Pull-thru and back-in sites are designed to accommodate large RVs easily.
  • Primarily 55+ Clientele: For those seeking a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere, the park's appeal to a primarily 5+ clientele is a key feature.

**5 Stars** Pineglen Motorcoach & RV Park is such a cute and well-maintained spot! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better. We loved that all the sites were well shaded—definitely a big plus. Even the other campers were super friendly! We went to a potluck during our stay and ended up making some new friends, which was such a nice surprise. The only downside was the traffic when trying to leave the park; it can get pretty congested. But honestly, that’s a small inconvenience compared to how much we enjoyed our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I have been regular visitors to Pineglen for the last seven years as we go to an annual Shriners event the force first four and five years were absolutely awesome. The last two years we have run into nothing but mosquitoes that will carry you away we have run into very bad bathrooms, but one of the worst things to me is how the grounds are uncapped Used to you could walk down to the side of the lake now it is taken over by weeds sticker bushes you can’t even walk your dog anymore. They are full of hitchhikers and thorns all in their side if they get close to the brush, so be very careful if you are walking your dogs they are not taking care of the grounds. they are very nice people. I don’t know who is in charge of it now but They have just been lazy and let the place go downhill if anyone has stayed there in the last month and this is June 2025, please let us know that will make our decision whether we will ever book there again thank you so much. I truly hope they have this cleaned up. We really did love it

Clean fresh rest rooms and a refreshing pool. Close to the harley davidson store . Chris and Jim the managers were fantastic and and we enjoyed talking with them . We will return. The beach and shopping is close with Great restaurants. Easy delivery made it good. Saw turtles in the ponds and enjoyed an early morning swinging near one...A + we felt safe and had no problems at all.

We stayed there the month of Feb 2025. What a nice park. Lots of beautiful trees and surrounding ponds with a fountain. The Management and Staff are excellent. They have weekly fun events and the ones we attended were great. Took a chance at booking for a month and was not disappointed.

Wonderful management, Chris and Jimmy have worked hard to give the best customer service to their guests and staff. The location is peaceful and wooded despite being off the busy highway. Very much worth another visit or seasonal stay.
