The campground's direct association with "Pinnacle Creek" in its name strongly indicates its close proximity to the Pinnacle Creek Trailhead, one of the most popular access points for the Hatfield-McCoy network. This 'park and ride' convenience is a massive advantage for ATV and UTV enthusiasts, eliminating the need for extensive trailering once you've arrived.

Furthermore, the campground is also "about a 5 minute ride" from the town of Pineville. This ensures that while you're immersed in the rugged beauty of the trails, you're never far from essential amenities. Pineville offers gas stations, convenience stores, and places to grab a meal, providing all the necessities for a comfortable and convenient stay. This strategic balance of direct trail access and proximity to town makes Pinnacle Creek Campground an exceptionally accessible and desirable location for anyone exploring the ATV-friendly regions of West Virginia.

I had heard they had good fried pickles but didn't try them. I did have a cheese steak though and it was amazing. The cheeseburger that my wife got was as well. It was all Black Angus and the French Fries perfectly seasoned. They serve your drinks in the bottle. The inside is not unappealing but it's made for 4 wheelers. It's definitely on my favorite place to grab a burger now! It is not a fast food place so expect to wait for your order to be cooked to order but it's well worth the wait!

We stayed here for an extended weekend while ridding the H&M Pinnacle Creek Trails. The Campground is not much more than a large gravel lot with about 12 lots. Each one has Electric, Water, and Sewer Hookups. There are no restrooms or showers here. Reservations don't seem to be normally accepted, but we were able to make a reservation. The campground is about a 5 minute ride from the trail head and the town of Pineville. Good location!
