This address places it squarely within Denton, a dynamic and growing city situated at the northern tip of the "Golden Triangle" of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. This location is a significant advantage for RVers, offering a balance between local city charm and broader metropolitan access.
Denton itself is a hub of activity, home to two major universities (University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University), which contribute to its lively atmosphere, diverse dining scene, and unique local culture. Being in Denton means residents of Post Oak Place have immediate access to a wide array of amenities. This includes various restaurants, local shops, and entertainment options, many within a short drive. Post Oak Place, as an RV park that largely caters to long-term residents, focuses its pricing on extended stays. While specific, flash promotions are not typically advertised on public review sites, their core offering is a competitive monthly rate.
Based on available information, the key offers and pricing structure include:
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Rates: The park offers a range of rental options. Public data indicates daily rates around $30-$40, weekly rates around $185-$250, and monthly rates historically around $500-$750, with utilities (like water and electric) often included in monthly fees. Premium monthly sites might be slightly higher.
- Extended Stay Value: The monthly rates are designed to be cost-effective for those planning longer stays, providing significant savings compared to daily or weekly rates. This makes it particularly attractive for full-time RVers or those on long work assignments in the area.
- Phone and Cable Service with Monthly Stays: For monthly residents, phone and cable TV service are often available, enhancing the long-term living experience.
It is crucial for prospective residents to contact Post Oak Place directly to confirm the most current rates, availability, and specific details about what is included in each rate package. Pricing, especially for long-term rentals, can be subject to change and specific terms and conditions.

For Texans, particularly those considering a long-term or full-time RV lifestyle in the vibrant North Texas region, Post Oak Place in Denton offers a compelling and highly suitable option. Its suitability for locals stems from a unique combination of its established community, practical amenities, and strategic location.
Firstly, the park's strongest asset appears to be its deeply rooted, friendly, and laid-back community. As one resident enthusiastically put it, it's "the most laid back quote friendly park I could have imagined of finding," where they "feel safe" and "the people are amazing." For Texans seeking a sense of belonging and a supportive neighborhood, especially in an RV park setting, this is invaluable. The fact that it's "mostly full timers" means a stable and established environment, fostering genuine connections among residents through reported community events like potlucks and coffee mornings. This provides a true "home" experience, rather than just a transient parking spot.
Secondly, its location in Denton is a significant advantage. Denton offers a rich local culture with its universities, diverse dining, and arts scene, meaning residents have plenty to explore locally. Beyond Denton, the park's excellent accessibility to major interstates (I-35E and I-35W) makes it a practical base for work or leisure travel across the entire DFW metroplex. Proximity to large lakes like Ray Roberts and Lewisville provides easy access to outdoor recreation, while nearby shopping centers and essential services ensure convenience for daily needs. This balance of a quiet, tree-shaded community feel with urban and natural amenities close by is a perfect fit for many Texans.
While some past reviews highlight potential maintenance issues with shared facilities like roads and the pool, and inconsistent Wi-Fi, the core offering of full hookups, affordable monthly rates (often including utilities), and a genuinely friendly atmosphere remains a strong draw. For many full-time RVers, having their own tidy site under mature trees, within a welcoming community, outweighs minor inconveniences. The "excellent landscaping" and the mature "post oak trees" contribute to a pleasant living environment, offering shade and natural beauty.
In conclusion, Post Oak Place is more than just an RV park; it's an established, community-oriented home for many Texans. It’s ideal for those prioritizing a friendly, safe, and stable long-term RV living experience in a conveniently located North Texas city, offering a relaxed lifestyle amidst the growth and opportunities of Denton.
Customer Reviews
I actually live here full time. The most laid back quote friendly park I could have imagined of finding I feel safe here. The people are amazing and the landscaping is excellent. I’ll be here for a very long time.
Apathetic management; be aware of what you are getting into if you reserve a spot. Photos are attached. There is no WiFi - expect to either use up all your mobile hotspot data, and then some, or pay for internet which means adding another $60 to your fees IF you can get spectrum to do a hook up on short notice. I should say there could be WiFi - if the manager would just reset the router but she won't (see photos), I asked her about every third day for a month to just reset the router and offered to do it myself but for some reason she wouldn't ever do it or respond to any emails. This cost me money and time. The park is mostly full timers with a few short term spots for monthly rental. It's about 50/50 RVs from the 90's/early 2000's and some newer travel trailers, the residents are very nice and their sites are tidy. I wish the management treated the residents better - the roads are full of pot holes, the pool is unusable, and it seems like the garbage is always full/overflowing. If you are in town short term to work I would recommend you look elsewhere for better services.
It is a very nice family owned rv park. Have been there many times. Will go back!
We do not live here. Our friends do and have for over a year. We visit them and have been diffrent times of the day and year. The park is always clean the people there are very nice and it is a wonderful community. The pool is very nice and plenty of space to walk your dog. My friends love living there and have no issues. They have never said anything but nice things about the park itself, the staff and the residents. If it was close to our jobs we would have already tried to live there.
This little park really surprised us how nice and quiet it was! Some spots don't have shade, but we were lucky enough to be covered. There's a newly renovated pool! Ladies in the office are pretty down-to-earth, but they're only there from about 10am to 5pm Monday thru Friday, so if you need to speak to someone, you either call or go during the workweek. The payment for a monthly spot was reasonable. The spots are back-in, not pull through. Most people are long-term tenants. Only heard "loud" music one night out of about 2.5 months, but it was over by 10pm, which worked for us. Cons: need to fix dryers in the laundry room, might benefit from expanding the laundry room as well.. There are plenty of laundry services locally though, so it's not a big deal!
