Quiet RV Park About
For RVers traversing the Lone Star State, especially those looking for a practical and peaceful place to call home, even temporarily, finding the right spot is key. Quiet RV Park in Bridge City, Texas, lives up to its name, offering a serene and "drama-free" environment that's highly valued by its residents. This park is particularly popular among budget-oriented travelers and "turnaround warriors" – individuals who come to the area for temporary work at the numerous refineries and chemical plants in Southeast Texas.
Nestled in a local neighborhood, Quiet RV Park provides a unique blend of accessibility to urban conveniences and a tranquil, almost country-like feel. While it's not a resort with extensive amenities, it focuses on delivering a comfortable and reliable experience for those who prioritize peace and affordability. Its owner is frequently praised for being friendly, accommodating, and readily available to assist guests. This article will explore what makes Quiet RV Park a suitable choice for various types of RVers in the Texas region, providing factual insights into its location, services, and overall atmosphere.
Quiet RV Park is strategically located at 445 Gum St, Bridge City, TX 77611, USA. This address places it squarely within the charming community of Bridge City, situated in Orange County, deep in Southeast Texas. Bridge City is part of the "Golden Triangle" area (Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange), a major industrial hub with a significant presence of refineries and chemical plants, making the park's location highly convenient for those working in these industries.
Despite being in a neighborhood, the park's immediate surroundings offer a remarkable level of convenience. Reviews highlight its proximity to essential stores and services, with a Walmart, Raceway, Dollar General, and CVS all just "right down the street." This means quick and easy access to groceries, fuel, and daily necessities without a long drive. Furthermore, for those interested in local leisure, Bridge City and the wider Southeast Texas region offer various attractions. The park is noted as being "right by the Gulf," providing opportunities for fishing and enjoying the coastal environment after a day's work. Major plants and refineries are typically within a 10 to 30-minute drive, depending on traffic, making the commute manageable for "turnaround warriors." The area also boasts plenty of good restaurants and a few bars for unwinding. This strategic location offers a valuable balance of practical accessibility and local charm.
Quiet RV Park focuses on providing the fundamental services essential for a comfortable RV stay, particularly for those on a budget or working in the area. Based on direct customer feedback, the park's services primarily revolve around reliable site provisions:
- Full Hookup RV Sites: The park offers sites equipped with necessary connections, including 30-amp and 50-amp electrical service (though 50-amp availability may be limited at times), water, and sewer hookups. This ensures that RVs have access to essential utilities for their stay.
- Gravel Pads: While there is no concrete for spaces, the owner actively manages the grounds by adding gravel as needed to prevent "flooding type situations or stepping out into big water puddles." This indicates a commitment to maintaining functional and stable sites.
- Accommodating for Various RV Sizes: The park can fit a range of RVs. A 30-foot bumper pull fits nicely with room for a half-ton truck, and some fifth wheels can be accommodated, though it's noted that the park is "perfect for smaller RVs" and large rigs might find the street access a "tight fit" due to deep ditches.
- Owner Accessibility and Support: A key service highlight is the owner's constant availability and willingness to work with guests if they "need something." This hands-on approach provides direct and responsive support.
It is important to note, as clearly stated by reviewers, that the park offers "no amenities in the park." This means guests should not expect on-site restrooms, showers, or laundry facilities. However, a "Reliable Cleaners" laundromat is conveniently located 2-3 miles from the park, providing an off-site solution for laundry needs.
Quiet RV Park, as its name suggests, offers several key features and highlights that contribute to its appeal, particularly for its target demographic:
- Truly Quiet Atmosphere: This is a major highlight, with reviewers consistently emphasizing that the park is "very nice, quiet" and a "very quiet place to stay." There's no "loud music or people working on things outside making a lot of noise," fostering a peaceful environment.
- Budget-Friendly Pricing: The park is lauded for its "great low price," making it an excellent option for "budget oriented travelers" and those on long-term work assignments.
- Exceptional Owner Responsiveness: The owner is described as a "nice guy, always around if you need him basically anytime, and he is easy to work with." This level of personal attention and willingness to assist is a significant draw.
- Convenient Local Access: Despite being in a neighborhood, the park is "right down the street from Walmart, Raceway, Dollar General, CVS, etc." and "lots of stores close by," ensuring easy access to daily necessities.
- Strategic for Turnaround Workers: For those coming to the area for "turnarounds at the refineries or chemical plants," the park's proximity (10-30 minutes away) makes it an ideal home base, offering a peaceful retreat after a demanding workday.
- No Flooding Issues: The owner's proactive approach to adding gravel prevents "flooding type situations or stepping out into big water puddles," a valuable feature in a coastal region.
- Independent and Respectful Community: Residents "pretty much stay to themselves except for an occasional 'hello'," and "you aren't ever bothered by anyone," providing a sense of privacy and respect.
- Proximity to Recreation: Being "right by the Gulf" allows for fishing opportunities, and the Bridge City area offers beaches, fishing, and nightlife, providing options for relaxation and entertainment.
These features collectively make Quiet RV Park a compelling option for those seeking an affordable, quiet, and well-managed RV spot in Southeast Texas.

Customer Reviews
Great low price for you budget oriented travelers and turnaround warriors! The owner is a nice guy, always around if you need him basically anytime, and he is easy to work with if you need something! It's a very nice, quiet RV park as the name suggests in a neighborhood but right down the street from Walmart, Raceway, Dollar General, CVS, etc. Lots of stores close by. There are no amenities in the park but there is a Reliable Cleaners 2 - 3 miles from the park. There is no concrete here for spaces so if you need that to feel comfortable this isn't the place for you. I have never experienced any flooding type situations or stepping out into big water puddles like some places. The owner makes sure that he adds gravel as needed to keep things like that from happening. I have a 30' bumper pull and it fits quite nicely with room for my 1/2 ton to park beside it. There is a 5th wheel that is there and can probably fit another 1 or 2 depending on your driving skills but smaller bumper pulls or small 5th wheels are perfect here. If you're coming in from out of town to work turnarounds at the refineries or chemical plants then on your way you can stop off on the side of the highway and do some fishing after work to relax some as this place is right by the Gulf. The plants and refineries are anywhere from 10 to up to 30 minutes from here depending on traffic and which plant or refinery you're working at. There are plenty of good restaurants in town and a few good bars to go sit and have a drink at to relax after a hard days work. When you're in the park, you aren't ever bothered by anyone. They all pretty much stay to themselves except for an occasional "hello" from them. No loud music or people working on things outside making a lot of noise so it really is a very quiet place to stay.
The price is good & the manager is great! He is very nice & is always in and out. It is quiet here & perfect for smaller rv’s. They have quite a few older bumper pulls in here and very few newer models. A few cats running around loose. We have 2 full size trucks & a 50amp 39ft rv but not really enough room to park. He didn’t have any 50amp available for us so we are running on 30amps. He is putting more gravel down and there is no concrete. Like I said, this park is really perfect for smaller rv’s. It is a tight fit coming from the street, if you have a large rv be careful of that. They have deep ditches! 😂 We are down the street from Walmart, CVS, Dollar General, Raceway & some restaurants. No amenities here so you will have to find the laundromat here in town somewhere. They have alot of things to do around here as well. Beach, fishing, night life as well. Happy Travels!
This rv park has always been a great place to stay. It's safe, near shopping restaurants, all night fast food, fishing, refineries, and reasonably priced. The owner is friendly and screens renters to assure safe, peaceful stay for workers and vacationers.
...excellent, clean, quiet, reasonably priced place to live. I've been a resident there for six months now and i am very pleased with the owner and my surrounding neighbors. An easy 5 star rv park.
The name definitely fits the place so if your looking for a quiet, clean the environment with a friendly staff and great prices this is th place to go! Highly recommend if visiting the bridge city area!
