Riversedge Campground, like many outdoor recreation businesses, typically offers pricing structures and policies that cater to different types of stays and groups. While specific, limited-time "promotions" beyond their standard rates may not be widely advertised, here are some common value propositions you might expect:
- Daily, Weekly, and Group Rates: Campgrounds often provide tiered pricing based on the length of stay, with weekly or monthly rates offering savings compared to nightly bookings. For larger groups or those planning a reunion, inquiring about potential group rates for campsites or float trips would be advisable.
- Float Trip Packages: The core offering of float trips often comes with clear pricing for different vessels (canoes, kayaks, rafts, tubes). While not a "promotion," transparent and competitive pricing for these activities is a key value point. It's important to note their policy that "floats are non-refundable and must be paid in full in advance," with rain-checks considered only if river conditions are deemed too hazardous by noon.
- Seasonal Availability and Pricing: As an outdoor campground located on a river, Riversedge operates seasonally. Pricing might vary between peak season (e.g., summer weekends and holidays) and shoulder seasons, with potentially lower rates during less busy times. It is crucial to check their official website or contact them directly for specific seasonal operating dates and pricing structures.
For the most accurate and current information on rates for campsites, float trips, and any potential special offers or packages, it is highly recommended to visit the official Riversedge Campground website or contact them directly. Customer Reviews
The grounds are not managed properly. We arrived and our reserved site was occupied and the store to check in was closed at 2:30 and no way to contact anyone. Was told they moved people when it flooded but they don't check for reserved sites when booking the people. Trash is not picked up daily and the animals rip it apart at night. We had 2 sites close with torn trash that was never picked up. The bathroom and shower house in main part is disgusting! A layer of bugs lined the vanity with the same large bug on it for 3 days we camped and the toilets and showers were no better! It's a bug fest with spewed stinky trash and a playground for unwanted animals at night. This wasn't our first trip to this campground but it will be our last.
Loved the location, but the staff was horrible. Also paid 150 for a float trip and we were rained out. They wouldn't refund the money either. But staff was literally the worst and ruined the experience. Wish they would sell to someone else!
The campground was fine. Older facilities but I really enjoyed the wood sites. We won't be going back though because the float trip sucked. I get that mother nature plays a big role in it, but they lied to my face when I asked about river conditions. I was told they were fine and rafts where not dragging. We had to drag our rafts for miles. By the time we got close to the take out and the river was finally good we were all to exhausted to enjoy the last half mile. The section of river they chose to float is terrible. Every other time I've floated on the black it has been great. Probably go back to Park Bluff, there float starts just before this one ends. Much better section of the river.
The staff was very friendly but easily distracted and would start speaking with other people while being in the middle of checking us out. Once I had made my payment, they sent me on my way with no information as to where our sites were or a map to try and find them. The restrooms were cleaned on Friday when I arrived, but by Sunday morning, they had not been cleaned out or trash taken out. We ended up reserving 4 sites, none of which had a usable fire pit to grill on. Each site did not have a clean layout or even a designated spot to park. There was also not a picnic table at every site. There were also quite a few other guests that had loud speakers playing music. This was of no issue until we hit quite hours. The quiet hours were not enforced at all, which led to many groups still playing load music at 12:30 a.m., making it quite hard to fall asleep. For the floating portion of our trip we were very disappoint. They did not provide us with any information as to how long the float would be, what time we had to be back by, or where we were supposed to take out. When we were dropped off at the beach to put in, the staff was very rude and was trying to rush us off the beach as fast as possible. One of our rafts had a leak in to before we even started. The two inner tubs we rented were not even floating inner tubs. They were truck tire inner tubs that were black with long valve stems. Both of those things led to them being highly uncomfortable and even hard for some of our smaller people to sit in. Over all it was enough small things that made they entire weekend a bit of a disappointment.
A friend of mine took me tent camping here last year and I loved it. We took another friend just last weekend and we had a great time. I like to be close to the river and we were both times. I’m planning to take my Dad in a couple of weeks. He’s going to love it. It’s a nice family friendly campground and everyone in the office was super friendly. The bathrooms & showers are clean and in descent shape. The only downfall was I had no phone service but that’s not always a bad thing…lol I recommend Riversedge Campground and will definitely be going back.
