This is our second year (winter season) staying at Roberts. And we just booked for a third season next year. We are from Boston and originally came to the St Petersburg area renting a condo and storing our travel trailer at Robert’s. Last year 2023-2024 we decided to spend the winter months in our trailer and rented a site here. We fell in love with the resort and came back again this year 2024-2025. We actually extended our stay, 2X this season we liked it so much. We hated to leave. The staff in the office are extremely friendly and helpful, even when they are busy. We have seen first hand how amazing they are at handling an office filled with foot traffic, phones ringing non stop, and doing it all with a smile. They are happy to assist with any questions we’ve had and when there is down time engaging in conversations. The maintenance crew are also great. Always there to lend a helpful hand if needed. The area itself is convenient to just about everything you could want. There are restaurants, stores, and medical facilities all close by. The park does get busy and full, especially during the winter months. We’ve found others to be friendly with a sense of community. Many people like us have returned for another season. We feel safe in the park, enjoying nightly walks or other activities. There are several activities offered, swimming, aerobics, pickle ball, corn hole, movie nights, pot luck dinners and more. Each month a booklet is left at your doorstep outlining for the weeks ahead all the different things to do. We are birders, and the bird and hawk watching have been fantastic!!! In fact the resort backs up against Sawgrass Park and we’ve had Bald Eagles, Kestrels and Red Shoulders with several different Warblers, and Egrets right near our site. As some reviewers have noted planes do fly over head, and there is a shooting range close by, but we haven’t felt it was overly loud or disruptive. Overall we love Roberts RV Mobile Resort and are looking forward to next season .

Friendly people and affordable! This was our first time and we will be back. There is a shooting range next door but it didn’t bother us. We stayed for a month. The facilities are awesome. There is pickleball, tennis, mail, the best laundry we had all winter (top and front loaders!!!), a hot tub, pool, pavilion with activities and more! Close to everything and easy in and out. What more could you want! In order to get in there is an application process though. Also very dog friendly for most breeds!

They are so professional and knowledgeable about the property and meeting your needs. And the porters, they are awesome. They help me get my rv parked perfect every time!! I couldn’t do a better job without their help. Also, the campground is convenient to everything. I love coming to St Pete and staying at Robert’s RV. Oh and I must mention, I’ve stored my rv here since 2007. I’ve never had any issues. They have the best security. The locals always check out who’s in the park. They ain’t walk-in’ their dog. They checking out who’s doing what. Best damn security you can get.

Tried to book a 2 night stay, was emailed a 6 page application, then told I’d need to send them multiple photos of our motor coach and our dog along with plate numbers of RV and Jeep along with registration. I told woman on phone we only need 2 days. She said everyone has to complete these forms. The grounds don’t look too nice from photos, and below 4 stars, so it’s unclear why this is all necessary. I’ve been booking RV campgrounds for years, and never asked to do this. The forms were also not electronic, so I was going to have to print them out, then scan them to laptop to email back. We travel long term in our motor coach, and this is very inconvenient. We stay in a beautiful RV resort in Key West for 5 months, and it’s simple. Call, book it, pay when you arrive. Needless to say we didn’t book at Robert’s campground. There’s so many other options in that area.

The park itself is okay. Extremely noisy as it sits directly off Gandy Blvd. The full time residents are sweet and the office staff is kind but the owner is a horrid human being. He is extremely off colored in his remarks and speaks to people in a very condescending tone especially the seniors he has working for him. They walk around like they are in constant fear of their jobs. The park has many potholes and minimal amenities. There is one pool, one hot tub an old tennis court, clubhouse and outdoor pavilion. The scenery is not great as these seniors seem over worked and under appreciated so they can not keep this place pristine. If you have to come here it's okay for a short visit. Not high priced but not priced according to specs
