Stayed here on a weekend in a small cottage. Everyone here was polite. Family owned campground by the lake. Nice prices. Just a relaxing, peaceful weekend. Will definitely stay again. They have small, medium, and large cottages for rent. Have to schedule rental ahead of time.

Spent four of the most glorious days in the Medium cottage with my sweetheart last August (2020) and simply don't have enough time to get through all glowing things I'd like to say. To make it simple, we've just booked a week in the Large for 2021 so the whole family can enjoy everything this magical little slice of heaven has to offer! We found the Resort and its cottages to be incredibly relaxing and well equipped retreats from the hustle and bustle, while still being convenient to shopping and such in several directions. (We were there mid-pandemic and thus doing our cooking at the cottage, but there did seem to be restaurants and attractions as well as shopping available not on top of you, but fairly nearby.) Shout-out to the very nice gas grill we did *not* realize in advance would be a part of our cottage, but which we certainly took into account when buying groceries and enjoyed nearly every day we were there! The views over the lake are to die for, especially from the small sandy swimming beach around sunset. (This also happens to be right in front of the Medium cottage, though I suspect the dock and view from the Large cottage is similarly stunning.) You're treated to a glorious, unobstructed vista of the sunset over the lake into the trees beyond, the sky and lake both brilliant with color. This slowly fades into a peaceful, hushed night, -directly- across the street from one of the newest Designated Dark Sky parks, so if stargazing is one of your passions, there's several spots where you can get away from most of the minimal light pollution produced by the campground and see some spectacular views of the night sky. I truly can't recommend this establishment and its ownership any more highly. They may have, literally and not figuratively, the most wonderful place on Earth there. (In the attached photos, we are standing in front of the Medium cottage in the same place, just with the lake at our backs in one and turned 180° to have the cottage behind us in the other, to help give you an idea how *very close* you are to the lake from the lodging.)

Very relaxing, fun but not too much organized "fun". The walking trails can give you a casual workout with beautiful scenery. Swimming is good without the speeding boat danger of other lakes. My partner likes the fishing and I like eating them.

We stayed up at Roger's Resort to visit with family. The owners were amazing. When we got there they helped us back in and level out our trailer. Such nice people we will definitely be going back. Not very noisy super relaxing. Our family had a blast and the sunset over the lake was amazing!!
