It is important to acknowledge that the provided reviews paint a concerning picture regarding several aspects. Critical feedback highlights issues such as: alleged drug activity and vandalism, high lot rent and additional mandatory fees (internet, water, sewer, garbage) leading to a total monthly cost of "close to $630 a month" excluding the dwelling itself, poor road conditions ("pot holes," "ruined roads") causing vehicle damage, unsatisfactory responses to complaints from management, and a general environment described as "crime infested" and "not livable." These aspects are presented here as features/highlights based on the provided customer feedback, though they clearly represent significant areas of concern and should be thoroughly investigated by any prospective resident.

For Kentuckians exploring various housing options, particularly within Georgetown, Sawyier Pointe exists as a mobile home park that provides lots for manufactured homes. Its location in Georgetown offers residents access to local services and the broader regional connectivity provided by Interstate 75, which can be advantageous for those commuting or seeking amenities in larger nearby cities like Lexington.
However, based on the provided customer reviews, a highly cautious and thorough approach is strongly advised for any local considering Sawyier Pointe. The feedback highlights significant concerns regarding the living environment, including allegations of drug activity, vandalism, safety issues, and dissatisfaction with management responsiveness to complaints. Furthermore, the reviews consistently point to high and escalating lot rents, coupled with mandatory additional fees for services like a "crappy internet package," water, sewer, and garbage collection, leading to a substantial monthly cost that residents feel does not reflect the value or quality of the park's condition, particularly concerning road maintenance and overall upkeep.
While mobile home parks can often present an affordable entry into homeownership, the reviews for Sawyier Pointe suggest that the cost-benefit analysis for this specific park may be highly unfavorable. Therefore, for Kentuckians, suitability would only be considered after an extremely rigorous personal investigation. This would absolutely need to include: an in-person visit to observe the conditions of the roads and common areas, speaking with current residents if possible, and having very direct and detailed conversations with park management to clarify all costs, services, and policies, particularly regarding maintenance, security, and complaint resolution. Given the serious nature of the reported issues, prospective residents should exercise extreme diligence to ensure their safety, financial well-being, and overall quality of life align with the reality of living in this community.
If you wanna raise kids around drugs and vandalism while paying so much much money for a mini Mexico drug city that you stuggle to pay other bills. This is the place for you. I don’t recommend taking any complaints to the office, the main women and her associates that are in charge to make sure you struggle more then before you did when you complained. They are cooked thieves that make lord knows how much but won’t fix the roads they ruined, which continues to ruin several peoples vehicles. If you gotta choose between moving here or going homeless. I suggest the shelter. Seriously…
Feb 12, 2025 · Christopher WillisJust raised rent again at this place all you here are gunshots and fighting, this place is literally a giant crack house. The lot rent now exceeds $450 plus you must pay for there crappy internet package which is an additional $60 a month individuals can getbit cheaper than that. Plus garbage and water and sewer garbage is only once a week pickup now we seen no reduction in cost. The lot rent to have a trailer in this crime infested poorly managed slum fest is now close to $630 a month keep in mind that does not include your dwelling just the lot. There are far nicer parks that charge way less. For the amount the charge for lot rent in other states such as florida would include a pool house gym and a real clubhouse. Stay far far away from this place.
Jan 14, 2025 · Lydia FletcherI paid a ten thousand dollar deposit on a specific trailer. I was told by Kimberly nobody could buy it from under me. She said no i was good. 2 days later it is sold to someone else and they have deposited my check. Said i could get a refund or different trailer. I want the refund but they cant give it back to me. She told me it wouldnt be cashed until everything was done. Now i have no home and no money.
Oct 02, 2024 · Karley BelcherMy mother lived there for a long period of time so I know that place intimately. Very clean, friendly, respectful, diverse, and it's growing. On the border of Scott and Fayette, (mainly in Scott County) Sawyer Point is a predominantly Hispanic community that continues to thrive in its own vibrant essence. The is a store/restaurant off of Lisle Rd that has amazing tortas.....try it. I believe the name of that business is La Tienda Mexicana Ruby. Pleasant community and most definitely 5 stars...Big facts!!
Jul 17, 2024 · Vontimmias Decole Fields (Dancinthrupain)Everyone in the community is really nice here; definitely the best service from the landlords! :) There is just a bit of a drainage issue at the end of Robin Road, but it's nothing to deter us from staying here. And the area is close to grocery stores and restaurants so there's plenty to do! Very happy we chose Sawyier Pointe!
