He has always said that he really likes it here mainly because of the mountain bike trails. I thought the spaces were nice, not too close, and overall the campground was pretty quiet at night. They did put a lot into making these sites level and convenient for the needs of the camper." This review points to the thoughtful design of the campsites and the generally tranquil atmosphere, despite its popularity. These comments consistently emphasize the high quality of the mountain biking opportunities, a significant draw for many active campers.
The same reviewer also provided valuable details regarding some practical aspects, noting, "The one downfall, especially since these are all electric only spots, there are no showers here so you have to drive to a different campground in order to get one. They also don't have a way to connect a hose to the water supply so that you can fill up your water when you run out. There is also a Raystown Lake visitor center that you can drive to that has some pretty cool things to buy."
