We have been camping here for nearly 10 years with the past 4 yrs. as seasonal campers. We have members in our family who have have a longer history out here. We have witnessed much progress in updating the park from year to year. You must take baby steps before you can run with it. It is a very nice family which owns the park. Together they took it over from their previous owner their dad and granddad. Rules are made to keep people safe and protect the property. Ask if you need to see the rules. It should be common sense to respect that which is not yours. There are children on the premises don’t get stupid drinking. Drinking is fine but getting carried away isn’t. We all want to have fun but we must be considerate and respect one another. A dump… there is a process for removing previously owned property from the campground and it can not happen over night. It can take quite awhile. Sulphur smell there isn’t much you can do about it it’s a natural occurrence with well water that changes with barometric pressure changes. You say dirty… do you do your part and make sure things are as you left them. This places can be considered a mom & pop business and it’s important not to run them down. Come on camping season 2023!
Apr 05, 2023 · Kt Graham-JordanWe spent 2 nights here because my Grandaughter was playing in a softball tournament! It was hard getting into the campground and the sites are very small. The hook up for the water is 75ft away from the camper so you need two hoses which we didn't have. There are an over abundant amount of trees so our TV wouldn't work.Neighbors had a party so beer cans were all over.Railroad track is right up against the park so you hear trains all night. The platform the picnic table was sitting on had nails sticking up out of it.We arrived a little after 1 which was check in time and nobody was in the office and was not answering their phones.Somebody drove by in a golf cart so he helped us.The people we encountered were nice but would not recommend this campground. Get rid of half the trees and clean up the grounds.Enlarge the sites and make the water accessible with one hose.
Jun 09, 2024 · Debby GlazeIt's unfortunate I have to even give them 1 star. Absolutely horrible people to deal with and filthy place! The grounds were unkept and the pond, well, dont swim in it. We paid for the season and could not even get into our spot because he had rented out our spot to someone else! Every time we went out to make sure it was empty someone new was rented out to it. Filthy facility and the workers, when you could find one, were rude and obnoxious. We had to talk to the manager, who was hiding in the house, over a speaker. We couldn't hear him because of all the dogs barking in the background but he refused to come and speak to us.
Jun 12, 2024 · Mary StrawbridgeMy suggestion? Stay elsewhere. Moved rv from another park for the tank service offered here. Told them and paid for tank services 3 days ago and was told it'd be done today for me to be told upon asking that because it rained last night I'd have to wait longer despite my tanks being full for days already. I paid for a month and told them I'd be wanting to move and they're refusing to refund the remaining 3 weeks they were paid. I stay alone and I am pregnant, ive been clear on both and that I do not have enough experience to move my rv alone primarily when it involves backing it into anywhere therefore I can't drag it to dump site and back into it's spot safely. Arrowhead is a better site if you need a reference.
Jul 10, 2024 · Kira MorningstarrFriendly owner, very nice residents. Only 30 amp service, 50 amp is used by long term residents. Several really old very run down RVs and trailers that take away from the clean look of it. It's nice for a few days. Runs parallel to I-75. A lot of highway noise. All and all a nice place, reasonable price per night. No Wifi or cable.
