Introduction / Overview
For New York City locals and those visiting our incredible region who prefer the comfort and convenience of their own recreational vehicle, finding an accommodating and strategically located RV park can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. Thankfully, the search ends in Brooklyn. We are thrilled to introduce the Skyline RV Camp - Waterfront, a truly unique destination that positions you at the epicenter of the NYC experience. This is not your typical suburban campground; it is perhaps the only dedicated RV camp site right here in New York City, offering an unparalleled urban camping adventure.
The appeal of Skyline RV Camp - Waterfront, located at 1 Noble Street, is multifaceted. It bridges the gap between the open road freedom of RV life and the dynamic, world-class attractions of Manhattan and the vibrant culture of Brooklyn. Situated directly next to the East River, this premium site offers a feature that no hotel in the area can match for the price: a spectacular, unobstructed, and ever-changing view of the Manhattan skyline from the comfort of your own RV window. Whether you’re staying for a long weekend or a longer, exploratory trip, this location provides a safe, central, and scenic home base for exploring all five boroughs.
This destination is less about traditional campground frills and more about location, access, and view. The hosts are known for being friendly, hands-on, and dedicated to ensuring a secure and comfortable stay, often going above and beyond to assist guests with parking and getting settled. It is a hidden gem for any local RVer who wants a city experience without the logistical nightmare of finding RV parking in New York.
Location and Accessibility
The Skyline RV Camp - Waterfront is enviably located at 1 Noble St, Brooklyn, NY 11222, USA, placing it firmly in the heart of Greenpoint, one of Brooklyn’s most desirable and trending neighborhoods. This location offers the perfect balance: a serene waterfront edge contrasted with the lively, eclectic surroundings of a classic NYC neighborhood.
A central concern for any RVer in New York is accessibility to mass transit, and this park excels in that regard. The Greenpoint Avenue subway station (serviced by the G train) is less than half a mile away, making the entire city accessible in minutes. The G train provides connections to other major subway lines like the L, E, and 7, enabling seamless travel to midtown, downtown, and virtually any destination in Manhattan.
Additionally, the location boasts exceptionally easy access to the NYC Ferry service. This offers a scenic and swift transit alternative, allowing you to bypass road traffic and arrive in Midtown Manhattan or other Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods in no time, all while enjoying the iconic city views. For those who love the Greenpoint area, the camp is surrounded by a charming mix of industrial grit, residential tranquility, unique local businesses, and plenty of food and drink options. While the entrance to the site can sometimes be a bit tricky to spot on a first visit, the on-site hosts are readily available to guide guests directly to their spot, making the arrival process surprisingly smooth for an urban location.

Skyline RV Camp - Waterfront is primarily designed to meet the essential needs of the urban RVer, focusing on convenience and security rather than traditional resort amenities.

Was worried when I couldn’t find the entrance and circled the block 3 times. I called and the host spotted me on the street and quickly came to talk to me. He guided me in and let me pick a spot for the best views. He was friendly and patient. I felt safe here. The bathrooms are clean and although I thought I filled my fresh water, I hadn’t. There is a place to fill on site (after I unhooked). Went and took a look at the showers. They were clean (although they are portable showers) they had amazing water pressure. From the park, there is Greenpoint subway less than 1/2 mile you can take to anywhere in the city. As I was coming back to the park, some teenagers came in behind me and the host was there on the spot to stop them. Told me they do not let anyone in that is not staying there. This place is great.. great view, great hosts.
Sep 20, 2025 · Melissa RamirezThis place is a hidden gem! I have stayed at both the waterfront and non-waterfront sites. The view at the waterfront is incredible! My most recent stayed was at the non-waterfront area at 50 Noble Street. We set up our tent between a homemade pickle store and a ninja park. The location was perfect and we were still able to walk across the street and enjoy the waterfront. Both sites have easy access to both the ferry as well as the subway. Plenty of food options nearby.
Aug 19, 2025 · Trent HoganSkyline RV Camp is a one-of-a-kind experience — the only RV park in New York City! There are two campground areas, and we stayed right on the waterfront. The views? Absolutely stunning. Clean bathrooms, hot showers, free WiFi, water and power hookups. The NYC Ferry and the Subway are both just a 10-minute walk away, making it super easy to get right into Manhattan. We’ll definitely be back the next time we roll into NYC. 10/10 — Highly recommend!
Jul 28, 2025 · Chris HallWe stayed at waterfront location. Not your traditional RV park, but a very cool Brooklyn location with amazing views of the Manhattan skyline. Driving through New York with an RV is stressful—use a truck app to avoid propane and height issues. Frank answers the phone and tells you to park anywhere. We couldn’t find the water fill station, but otherwise it worked out fine. If you have a reason to RV in Brooklyn, like visiting family, it’s worth it for the experience and the view. Travel tip: when you leave, don’t go through Manhattan—take the New Jersey Turnpike to I-95 out.
Sep 08, 2025 · Michelle ReneauThis place is phenomenal. The views are next level amazing and you are walkable to everything, including the subway. Great, safe neighborhood with everything you need within walking distance. Hands down my favorite spot in our 7 month RV trip. However, if you’re looking for a traditional RV resort, this is not it. It is a parking lot. No grass, no water at each site and no sewer hookups but they have a guy that comes twice a week you can pay a few dollars for emptying. And if you have a rig over 12’6”, watch your clearance!!!!! Even the interstates have low clearance areas. Do your homework but wow is it an absolutely fantastic spot.
