Very nice well kept campground with great views. The location makes a lot of fun to do things accessible. We would stay there again!
Aug 17, 2025 · Chris PellegrinoThis a an amazing KOA! First, the staff are so incredibly friendly. The views are gorgeous and the entire place is so peaceful. This is by far one of our favorite spots!
Aug 23, 2025 · ROGreat campsite with great views of Lake Ontario. Sunsets are gorgeous and lot of places to visit locally.
Sep 12, 2025 · allen beauneI will start by saying we are full time on the road for over 7 years. We are KOA Rewards members and have stayed at hundreds of campgrounds (many KOAs) all over the US. This is by far the worst KOA experience we've had. We reserved and paid for a "front row, lake view site" and when we arrived, were put in a back in with absolutely no lake view. There are a few sites with absolutely beautiful views of the Lake Ontario if you're lucky enough to get one. Apparently, reserving a lake view site does not guarantee you'll get one of them. When we brought it to the Manager's attention, we got a few different excuses. In any event, the site we were assigned (site 86) should not be considered "front row, lake view". We asked to be charged for a premium back in site, which would be reasonable and were offered a 5% discount, which is an absolute joke. We asked for a full refund and left. That site is nowhere near worth $600 for 5 nights. The grounds crew was very nice and tried their best to help us, but they did agree that this is a problem and that many people have complained. When you pay that much for a water view site, you expect to have a water view. The first picture is the site we were assigned, the second picture is one of the actual water view sites that we reserved. They are charging the same price for both.
Jul 30, 2024 · Crystal Davis BarnabyLoved our site overlooking the lake! Props and huge thanks to the staff that helped back us in; it would have taken me forever, lol. Fire pit was in an awkward spot given the deck, but otherwise perfect. Facilities were clean, dog park serviceable as well. Very close to Sodus Point. We will be back I am sure.
