Promotions or Special Offers

As a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE) managed campground, Sparrowfoot Campground primarily offers discounts through federal interagency passes. The most commonly mentioned promotion is the acceptance of the National Park Pass for a discount on camping fees. This typically provides a 50% reduction on the standard nightly rate, making it an incredibly affordable option for seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities who hold these passes.

For example, reviews indicate nightly rates ranging from $10 to $20, with pass holders potentially paying as little as $12.50 to $15 per night for a site with electric and water hookups. Prospective campers, particularly those eligible for federal discounts, are strongly encouraged to present their valid National Park Pass (such as the America the Beautiful Annual Pass, Senior Pass, Access Pass, or Military Pass) upon check-in to receive the applicable discount.

Beyond these federal discounts, specific seasonal promotions or limited-time offers are generally not advertised for COE campgrounds in the same way commercial campgrounds might. However, the inherent value provided by the well-maintained facilities and accessible pricing, especially with a pass, makes Sparrowfoot Campground a highly attractive option year-round.

This is one of our favorite places to camp. Nice, clean, lot of shade. We've gotten 4 other campers to come down there to camp with us. All total we've brought 19 extra people to this campground at 1 time or another and everyone has had a great time!

ACOE awesome place! Camped here for 2 nights. Can't believe how empty this campground is. It is beautiful. Large sites, mostly all level. Lots of trees and grass. Close to town. 50 amp campground has pit toilets. Modern restrooms are by the 30 amp campground. Went to dinner at Courtyard Grill and Bar, which was awesome. We travel in a motorhome with a tow. We would definitely come back again.

We had a very nice site. Electric and water worked fine at the site and the dump station is clean and easy to use. We were there with family, who live to fish. They did get a lot of catfish.

The campground was very nice. Had large sites with plenty of room. Trails down to the lake. We were pleasantly surprised that the lake shore was rock. We expected a mud and stick covered shore because of the location and compared to other sites nearby. The couple running the place were so very nice even when running ragged keeping up with the holiday crowd. Its definitely a fishing spot. We saw more of the small fishing boats rather than the big boats making wakes. It was quiet and much slower compared to some of the other lake sites we've been. Definitely enjoyed it!
