A Refreshing down home Neighbor/Family Value Community. Allowed me to pull of the road and correct few mechanical issues without causing predudice. Several community members came to assist how they could and were patient as well as tolerant.
My Son lives there and he is happy there. I have a lot of friends that used to live there and they liked it also.
I lived there for years back in the 70s. When the lodge was used for the tendents. And they had a swimming pool.Its changed drastically since I lived there.when I lived there it was a nice place to live. I couldn't say now.The roads were always bad back then.I think the lady that runs the place can only do what the owner will let her do. I'm sure with the money involved in the park they watch it pretty much. The manager so don't be to hard on her it's the owner.
I have only spent a short time here visiting. There's not foot high grass or trash piled around people's homes. You can tell there's effort being put in to keeping it up. From what I understand the management runs a pretty tight ship and this helps add a well cared for aesthetic to the park. That's all I know.
I lived there a few years and year after year they talked about fixing the huge pot holes but never did the lake is looking bad from no upkeep and the management has an attitude and makes up her own rules. I’ve seen even some of 5 star responses are from her family or friends to boost the ratings. Most people upkeep their houses but they always expect more that come with threats.
