This is an absolutely beautiful park right on Lake Huron. I have stayed here several times. My one complaint is the excessive yard lights at night. Some are even over firepits. Not a super relaxing way to enjoy a fire. It would be a suggestion to turn them off after a certain time like 10pm. Or get rid of half of them just have them by intersections and the bathroom. They are everywhere. It's a bit much. Other than that the park is clean, the staff is nice and it's walking distance to town. The water is rocky and a bit mucky, so bring water shoes, or drive to a different beach down the coast for swimming. There are a lot of options in the area.
Sep 14, 2024 · Melissa PaulikMy friends rented one of the cabins & were pleasantly surprised by them. Small but clean, had all the basics for a nice stay & they allowed dogs in them, which is very rare! We stayed in the campground in our rv. Very clean & Maintaned . Beach was very nice. Definately going back!!!
Jul 20, 2023 · kathy whitmanVery cute little cabins. We enjoyed our stay very much, very very quiet campground experience. We went Sunday through Tuesday (so might have caught a good quiet time.) Nice location right on Lake Huron, was fun for the kids to make sand castles. The shore was very mucky, would not suggest planning to swim but nice to be at the lake side. There was a nice playground for the kids as well. Adding photos of the interior because there were none before we went. Air conditioning was a huge bonus! We would return for sure. Thanks for having us!
Aug 29, 2021 · M CHWe stayed in a cabin (2 cabins actually) and had a great time. Felt really safe letting the kids walk to the playground and around the park. The beach was awesome, shallow for a long way out and sandy the whole way minus a bit of muck right near the shore. The staff was friendly and attentive, the firewood was well seasoned. It was obvious that the staff takes a lot of pride in the cleanliness of the park from emptying trash regularly to the bathrooms being kept up and the grass mowed.
Aug 27, 2021 · Liz BruerGreat view of the lake.l, nice breeze. Very impressed with the upkeep on the lawn. Was nice having grassy areas for the kids around the sites. Showers/bathrooms were kept clean! Will definitely camp here again!
