This is a beautiful stop worth your time any time of the year. When the rains are good and water running properly it is a wonderful spot to wade/swim in the river. The fall colors during our visit this round were beautiful, though the drought definitely had the water low. Can't go wrong stopping here, though.

Absolutely a gorgeous place to hang out for an afternoon or around golden hour like we did. The creek is shallow to just walk around in and enjoy the scenery. You can park and have a picnic or just hang out! So beautiful; we'd definitely come back here again!

Aside from watching a bunch of kids throw orange peels into the water and the woods when they stopped canoeing for a break, this was one the most relaxing days ever. Spent the afternoon reading, fishing, and listening to the water rush by. Whether you come here to fish, camp, stare at the sheer rock bluffs, or put in/take out for your canoe trip, this place has it all.
