For many South Carolinians, the dream of a peaceful retreat, a connection with nature, and a welcoming community is paramount when choosing a place to live or visit. The Palmetto State, with its diverse landscapes ranging from coastal beauty to serene inland forests and lakes, offers numerous opportunities for outdoor living. An "RV park" or recreational vehicle park, often provides a unique solution, combining the flexibility of RV travel with the stability and amenities of a permanent or semi-permanent residence. These parks are specially designed to accommodate motorhomes, travel trailers, and other RVs, offering essential hookups and a sense of community.
In Jenkinsville, South Carolina, a remarkable destination known as Stonewall Resort is redefining the RV park experience. Another review delves into the unique vision behind the resort: "I love the way the owner brought WV with him to SC. That stands out to me just because l am from WV. The owner lives in WV and so he did the landscaping with rocks, trees, and plants ect from WV and he is creating an amazing and unique place for anyone who wants to enjoy the scenery and the peacefulness." This fascinating detail about the landscaping, drawing elements from West Virginia, speaks to a deeply personal and artistic approach to creating the resort's environment, making it truly distinctive.
The consistent praise for the owner, Doug, is a recurring theme: "Doug the owner great guy that stays hard at work. He is so helpful and he strives to go beyond our needs and to see everyone happy." This level of personal dedication and customer-centric service is rare and highly valued, contributing immensely to the resort's warm and welcoming atmosphere. The sentiment of feeling "like home" and being "content and settled here for good" expressed by a long-term resident further solidifies Stonewall Resort's reputation as an exceptional place to live.

Doug the owner great guy that stays hard at work. He is so helpful and he strives to go beyond our needs and to see everyone happy. I'm from WV and I'm going to be honest l love WV but the cold hurts. This place really feels like home. I adapted immediately and I am done trying to find a place to live my life as l am content and settled here for good as far as in concerned. The owner wants us to stay and we don't want to leave. Fair enough for me😁 It's already an absolutely beautiful and peaceful place I'm excited to see the rest of his ideas and plans. Its perfect for us and the fact that the rec center is a mile or so up the road was phenomenal bc that has been my safe haven prior to finding this location. I am blessed and I truly recommend this for anyone who loves the country and the Carolina weather!
I had the pleasure of staying at Stone Wall RV Park for about nine months, and I can’t recommend it enough! The price was incredibly reasonable, making it perfect for long-term stays without breaking the bank. The cleanliness of the park truly stood out to me. Everything, from the facilities to the common areas, was well-maintained and tidy, which made my experience all the more enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the peaceful atmosphere. It was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing me to relax and unwind in a serene environment. Additionally, the park's location near the beautiful lake was a huge bonus. Whether it was morning walks by the water or leisurely afternoons soaking in the views, it was a constant reminder of nature’s beauty right at my doorstep. Overall, Stone Wall RV Park was a fantastic place to call home for several months, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and affordable RV experience!
We love Stonewall RV Park! Owners are hard working to please and easy to contact! Pets are welcomed, nice clean laundry/bath house, quiet, and gated! Great prices and the views are pretty remarkable! Must see for yourself ☀️
What a joke! Owner is rude and nasty! Quoted 500 a month and wanted cash ONLY! We weren’t arriving until the 16th of the month, and were told no proration for the time we weren’t there. Owner tried to imply we were getting a discount anyways because it’s normally $50.00 a night- yet she was the one that quoted the price of 500 a month which means 30 days in most cases. We were only interested in staying months at a time not daily or weekly- yet tried to push the narrative that her reason for no prorate was due to the cost of the other two scenarios which never applied to us originally. Hours on site state 24 hours, called at 430am to let them know we would be there at 630am, and owner told me I raised her blood pressure by calling at 4am, only to say she would have to get back to me later that night because she was out of town for an emergency, and she didn’t know what to tell me. Sounds like a real piece of trash location. Needless to say our conversation ended with me telling her she was rude and disconnecting the call. Highly doubt the other reviews were even real because since the moment we talked to her all she cared about was getting money and trying to justify her reason for not prorating us even though we planned to stay a couple months! Run folks!!! Scam on the making!!
