It’s a beautiful park, my family loves it. We’ve been here for a couple months and decided to put Christmas lights up to be festive with my kids. I received a phone call in regards to my site, I had to put my lights up and clean my site. We do as we are told but, a few sites down they have lights hanging from their tree, another site has stuff on the trees. If we are under a contract in which the contract states there shouldn’t be anything on the trees. Why is everybody else that is under the same contract able to get by with not obeying the rules and regulations on this contract?

Great spot for camping, fishing, & swimming. There are 3 playgrounds which are located in prime locations, the beach area, the camping sites, and one next to the camper sites. The bathrooms were clean and for the amount of traffic in and out… that was wonderful! The showers were also well maintained. I rated the park at 5 stars because it accommodated everything I was there for. ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ This is a public park. This park is not fenced. The manager was on premise, however when we checked in we could not find him. He did stop by the following day and announce we had set up in the wrong site. (The primitive sites are not numbered.) On that note… I cannot say if he patrols the area in the evening and throughout the night, however he was noticed throughout the day. I felt safe, even being right next to an open highway. Everyone that I interacted with, including guests, were all very kind and respectful. Quite time was communicated and it seemed all the guests and local public abided by it. The vehicles passing by on the highway and revving their engines while trying to sleep was a bit of an issue. EARPLUGS should be considered an essential item added to the camping list… you’ll thank me later!

What a stunning location for a laid back, comfortable and lovely RV Park. both arrival and communication were super Duper easy, especially considering that I arrived after dark. Clean washroom, laundry facilities and beautiful walking trails overlooking the water that are well lit at night. As if that’s not enough, the owners mother cooked me lunch on my way out! A true respite for a weary traveler or anyone looking to enjoy long term stay with waterfront views. Very grateful for my stay here. Thank you!!

The good: The fishing pier and circular boardwalk are VERY nice. The boardwalk has lighting for nighttime walks. The bird watching is good too. Bobby, the camp host, was very accommodating and let me move to a better spot (thank you!). The bad: Traffic noise from the highway is 24x7. I didn't notice it often inside the RV, but it was loud outside. The concrete "cabanas" on the waterfront spaces are too close together for you to extend your slides and awning, and if you stay out front & don't park between them, then you'll need a 12ft extension for your sewer hookup. I suspect these were built before RV slides were common. - - they also echo like a dome, so I moved the picnic table out of it and avoided the reverberations.

Overall a good place. A bit overpriced, but nice. They need to have some administrative oversight. When we arrived Saturday night, somebody was parked in our site; not an RV, but simply somebody in their car. Then, when we got back from going to church and lunch with family on Sunday, two cars were parked at our site WHERE OUR RV WAS PARKED. They parked on the grass next to our RV and we're using the picnic table and cabana at our site. It was unbelievable. We had to ask them to leave because we had paid for our site. No oversight so people do whatever they want.
