Promotions or Special Offers

While specific, publicly advertised "promotions or special offers" are not detailed in the provided customer reviews, the consistent praise for "very good" value and the high demand (filling up almost a year in advance for popular months like October) suggest that Timber Ridge Horse Campground’s standard rates are already considered excellent for the quality of service and amenities provided. Many highly sought-after campgrounds, especially those with unique offerings like equestrian facilities, rely on their reputation and word-of-mouth rather than constant discounts.

However, it is always a good practice to inquire directly about any potential savings when you contact the campground. They might offer:

  • Seasonal Rates: Prices may vary based on the time of year, with potential lower rates during off-peak seasons.
  • Weekly or Monthly Discounts: For longer stays, discounted rates for extended periods are common in the RV and camping industry.
  • Group Rates: If you are planning a visit with a large group of riding friends, as some reviewers are, inquire about specific group rates or packages.

Given the owners' reputation for being "amazing," "kind," and "helpful," it is highly probable that they would be transparent about their pricing and any available options. Contact them directly to discuss your specific needs and potential savings.

Susan and Eric, owners since Agust 2019 are amazing! We were met at the office by Eric, who CLEANED OUT OUR HORSE TRAILER, after we unloaded our three horses. WHO does that??!! Never in 30 years of horse camping has this been done! What a pleasant experience. It is a courtesy that helps horse travelers get settled quicker, feeding and caring for their animals. Some may have been on the road all day. The barn and stalls are very sturdy and well built. Good lighting on timers in case one forgot to turn them off was awesome. Remodeled bathrooms had plenty of hot water, showers, and toilets. We did not get a chance to use their party center, but hope to next time. The drive-through campsite was large and level. Each site had a fire ring, picnic table, water, and electricity. The trails are plentiful, wide, and clean with beautiful scenery and blessed quiet! They have easy grades and even beginner riders can do them. The maps are precise and trails are well marked. There is NO way to get lost! Big South Fork trails are across the street and are a little more challenging and awesome! They fill up almost a year in advance for October. We were so impressed, we are coming again next October and have already reserved 5 sites for us and our riding friends. We have been here 4 days and WISH we could stay longer! Do yourself a favor and visit them! *picture one: Eric & Susan (right) greeting a new camper and cleaning out their trailer!.

We stayed in Lucy's cabin which was quaint but also very clean and comfortable. The trails were rode were AMAZING and we barely scratched the surface! To top it off Eric and Susan were as kind and helpful as could be, we will definitely be back!

My husband, daughter and I just spent 2 nights at Timber Ridge. Eric and Susan are both so nice and accommodating. The camp is super neat. Love the bath house and the common area. The kitchen is great. The barn is super cool. Our horses loved it there. The trails are great and well maintained. They are marked well and easy to follow. We rode at the state park as well to Hippy Cave. That’s a must see. We will definitely want to go back again.

We had a wonderful time at Timber Ridge. The hosts are simply amazing, attentive and always friendly and hospitable. The shower houses and restrooms were super clean and smelled good too! The trails are fun and mostly easy. Not a lot of rocks, which I personally love for my horse. This is our 2nd time to visit Timber Ridge and have already booked a 3rd. If you are looking for good trails, hospitable hosts, and clean facilities this is the place for you. See ya there! I have stayed in the cabins and they are clean, cooled & heated as well.
