Understanding the specifics of what an RV park offers, especially from the perspective of current and past residents, can provide invaluable insight. While some reviews highlight the neighborly atmosphere and quiet surroundings, it's also important to be aware of all feedback to make an informed decision about where you choose to park your rig. Let's dive into the details, covering its location, available services, and what you might expect from a stay at Tri-Cities RV & Storage.
Tri-Cities RV & Storage is located at **300 Christine Rd, Jourdanton, TX 78026, USA**. Jourdanton, a city in Atascosa County, is situated in South Texas, offering a more rural setting compared to the bustling metropolitan areas. This location can be appealing for those who prefer a quieter environment away from the constant noise and traffic of bigger cities, allowing for a more relaxed pace of life.
The accessibility of the park is generally straightforward. From the junction of Highway 16 and Highway 97, you would typically go about 0.25 miles east on Highway 97, then approximately 1 mile south on Simmons Road/Christine Road to reach the address. This makes it relatively easy to navigate for RVs of various sizes.
While Jourdanton itself offers local amenities, its proximity to larger cities provides additional convenience. Jourdanton is approximately **44 minutes from San Antonio**, which means access to a wide array of attractions, dining, and shopping is within a reasonable drive. Popular San Antonio attractions such as the Riverwalk and The Alamo are viable day trip options for residents. For those heading further north, Austin is about 1 hour and 51 minutes away, and Corpus Christi is approximately 1 hour and 41 minutes away. This geographic positioning allows residents to enjoy the peacefulness of Jourdanton while still being connected to the cultural and commercial hubs of South and Central Texas.
Regarding local infrastructure, one long-term resident noted the state of "the roads...lol... Jourdanton right." This suggests that while accessible, local road conditions might be a point of minor amusement or mild inconvenience, typical of some smaller Texas towns. However, the overall location offers a balance between rural tranquility and practical access to essential services and entertainment.

For Texans looking for an RV park that offers a quieter pace of life away from the urban sprawl, **Tri-Cities RV & Storage** in Jourdanton presents itself as a potential option, particularly for those considering longer-term stays. Its suitability for locals can be viewed through several lenses, balancing positive aspects with some important considerations.
On the positive side, for individuals and families who appreciate a **peaceful and friendly neighborhood environment**, Tri-Cities RV & Storage seems to deliver. The sentiment from a long-term resident about "friendly quiet neighbors" and having "no issues other than the roads...lol... Jourdanton right" suggests a community where people generally get along and a tranquil atmosphere prevails. This can be a significant draw for Texans seeking a steady, comfortable base for their RV, especially if they are working in the area or simply prefer a less transient environment.
The park's location in Jourdanton, while a smaller town, offers a strategic advantage by providing a more rural setting that many Texans cherish. This means less traffic, less noise pollution, and often, a stronger sense of local community. Yet, it remains accessible to larger amenities in San Antonio, making day trips for entertainment, shopping, or specialized services feasible. This blend of rural peace and urban accessibility can be quite appealing.
However, it's crucial for any potential local resident to acknowledge and thoroughly investigate the serious concerns raised in one of the provided reviews. The allegations of "sewer leaking under your home for the past 5 months" and a refusal by the park to fix it, along with mentions of "unsafe living conditions" and "electricity that was about to cause a fire," are extremely serious and point to potential significant health and safety hazards. Such claims, especially when escalating to legal action and involving public officials like a constable, demand immediate and thorough investigation by any prospective resident. The phrase "I would not let an animal live here, YET people" highlights the severity of the reviewer's experience and should serve as a strong warning.
While the friendly neighbors and quiet environment are appealing, the fundamental safety and maintenance of living conditions are paramount. Therefore, while Tri-Cities RV & Storage might offer a desirable quiet location and a friendly community feel, its suitability for Texans is heavily contingent on verifying that all serious maintenance and safety issues have been definitively resolved and are proactively managed. Locals prioritize safe and healthy living conditions, and any RV park that falls short on these basic requirements would not be a suitable choice, regardless of other positive attributes. Prospective residents are strongly advised to visit the park in person, speak with multiple current residents, and perhaps even consult local city or county housing/health departments to ensure that the living conditions meet acceptable standards before committing to a stay.

We've been living here for over 3 years and the neighbors are friendly quiet and no issues other than the roads...lol... Jourdanton right... And if anybody knows the company code for the MyResident App I sure would appreciate it...thx
I would not let an animal live here, YET people. I find it hilarious how fast they will evict you BUT IF YOU HAVE SEWER LEAKING UNDER YOUR HOME for the past 5 months and I have called 3 plumbers and the park refuse to fix it. This place should be reported to the city for unsafe living conditions and condemned Don’t don’t don’t move here. Update: they are trying to sue me BUT WHAT THEY DON’T realize is that the sickness from leaking sewer and electricity that was about to cause a fire. You will not win in court against me and all the proof of your garbage homes, I hope this lawsuit will condemn this lot and you understand you tried the wrong person.
A good little neighborhood that is quiet and close to schools, gas stations, and town
Very nice park for the value! Good place for families. The management and owners have cleaned up the community and taken away the rough people. Years ago you would not want to leave your belongings out side for long. However now all of the residents are clean and want to live in peace. This is a very nice and peaceful place to live.
My mother has been living there for years. The tent is decent but they don't maintain the units very well. The lady who is in charge is sweet, but needs to be on top of the maintenance
