The park's address is simply listed as Pittsburg, TX 75686, USA, suggesting a location within or very close to the town itself. Pittsburg, a charming community in Camp County, is known for its serene environment, local history, and access to several popular lakes.

The name "Tri-Lakes" itself hints at its proximity to multiple significant bodies of water, which are a major draw for RVers and outdoor enthusiasts. While specific distances might vary, Pittsburg is famously close to Lake Bob Sandlin, Lake Cypress Springs, and Monticello Reservoir, all offering abundant opportunities for fishing, boating, and various water sports. This accessibility to the lakes is a primary advantage for guests at Tri-Lakes RV Park, allowing for spontaneous trips to the water.

Beyond the lakes, Pittsburg offers local conveniences such as grocery stores, gas stations, and a selection of local eateries. Its location within East Texas also provides relatively easy access to larger towns like Mount Pleasant or Longview for more extensive shopping, dining, or medical facilities, if needed. This balance of rural tranquility and access to essential services makes Pittsburg an attractive base for RV travelers looking to explore the natural beauty and local charm of the region. The park's address within Pittsburg ensures that guests are well-situated to enjoy all that this part of Texas has to offer.

While explicit details on specific services offered by Tri-Lakes RV Park are limited in publicly available information, RV parks generally provide a core set of services essential for comfortable RV living. Based on the nature of RV parks, especially those catering to potentially longer-term stays or a more relaxed clientele, one can typically expect:

  • RV Sites with Hookups: This is the fundamental service, providing designated spots for RVs with connections for electricity (commonly 30 and 50 amp), water, and sewer.
  • Site Maintenance: While cleanliness and upkeep can vary by park, general maintenance of the individual RV sites and common areas, such as access roads, is expected.
  • Waste Disposal: Provision of dumpsters or designated areas for trash removal is a standard service.
  • Basic Restrooms and Showers: Most RV parks offer communal restroom and shower facilities, though their condition and availability can differ.
  • Laundry Facilities: For guests staying for extended periods, on-site laundry facilities are a highly valued convenience.
  • Management Presence: While customer reviews suggest a more hands-off approach, there is typically a management presence to handle administrative tasks and address major issues.
  • Pet-Friendly Environment: Many RV parks, particularly those in more rural settings, are accommodating to pets, usually with guidelines for leash use and waste cleanup.

It's important for prospective guests to directly inquire about the specific services and their current condition to ensure they meet personal expectations.

Tri-Lakes RV Park, despite the limited detailed public information, seems to offer a unique set of features and highlights that might appeal to a specific segment of the RV community in Texas.

  • "Tolerant" and Laid-Back Atmosphere: One review highlights that the park is "definitely tolerant of their guests and seem to let just whatever go." For some RVers, this translates to a less restrictive environment, allowing for more personal freedom in how they manage their site and daily activities, contrasting with more stringent rules often found in resort-style parks. This can be a significant draw for those seeking a more relaxed and independent stay.
  • Proximity to "Tri-Lakes": As its name suggests, the park is ideally located near multiple significant lakes in East Texas, such as Lake Bob Sandlin, Lake Cypress Springs, and Monticello Reservoir. This provides easy access for guests interested in fishing, boating, swimming, and other water-based recreational activities.
  • Potential for Longer-Term Stays: The nature of some of the reviews, referencing living at the park, suggests it may accommodate or even cater to long-term residents, offering a more stable and affordable housing option for some.
  • Quiet, Rural Setting: Being in Pittsburg, TX, the park likely offers a peaceful and natural environment, away from the hustle and bustle of larger cities, appealing to those who desire a tranquil retreat.
  • Affordable Option: While not explicitly stated, parks with a more relaxed approach to amenities often come with a more budget-friendly price point, making RV living more accessible.

It's important for visitors to be aware that the "tolerant" atmosphere might mean varying levels of site tidiness or noise, depending on other guests, as indicated by some reviews. However, for those who prioritize a relaxed environment and lake access in East Texas, these aspects could be seen as beneficial.

This RV park seems pretty "cool". They are definitely tolerant of their guests and seem to let just whatever go. Is that good or bad? Depends on what u want. If you're loud and messy then this is your kinda place

I do not recommend. Bad owner. Complains a lot but doesn't want to fix anything or even keep the lawn mowed. Told us to do it ourselves. I was harrassed and I moved because of these problems. He even took these pics without permission. I'm in one of them. Completely Unprofessional.
