Trinity Camp is located at 7996 County Line Rd, Melrose, FL 32666, USA. This address places it at the northern edge of Putnam County, right on the county line, within the charming and somewhat rural community of Melrose, Florida. This area of North Central Florida is known for its beautiful lakes, natural settings, and a more relaxed pace of life, making it an ideal backdrop for retreats and youth camps where focus and immersion are key.
Accessibility to Trinity Camp is quite good, particularly for groups traveling from various parts of Florida. Melrose is situated conveniently between larger cities like Gainesville and Palatka, and is not excessively far from Jacksonville to the north. For groups coming from Gainesville, the drive is typically around 30-40 minutes, taking State Road 20 or other local routes towards the east. From Jacksonville, depending on the starting point, the drive might range from 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, utilizing routes like US-301 S or I-95 S connecting to local roads.
County Line Road itself provides direct access to the camp. While it’s described as being in a "cozy" and somewhat rural setting, implying it's off the main thoroughfares, its location on a clearly named county road suggests straightforward navigation. For large groups arriving in buses or multiple vehicles, clear directions and established roadways are crucial, and Trinity Camp's address appears to support this.
The surrounding Melrose area offers a pleasant natural environment with open fields and woods nearby, contributing to the "great nature outdoor experience" noted by visitors. This allows the camp to offer a variety of outdoor activities while still being within a reasonable distance of basic services and amenities in Melrose or nearby towns if needed. The blend of a peaceful, natural setting with practical accessibility makes Trinity Camp an excellent choice for any group seeking a focused and immersive retreat without being completely isolated.
Trinity Camp primarily operates as a group event and retreat facility rather than a public campground offering individual nightly stays or commercial promotions to the general public. Therefore, the "promotions" it offers are centered on providing comprehensive packages and value for organized group bookings.
For groups interested in hosting an event at Trinity Camp, the key "special offer" is the ability to book a complete experience that includes accommodation in cabins, access to the dining hall (and potentially catering services), use of meeting spaces like the tabernacle, and access to recreational amenities such as the swimming pool and zipline. Pricing for such bookings would be highly customized based on:
While there are no publicly advertised "discounts" like "first night free," the value proposition lies in the comprehensive nature of the offering and the highly accommodating staff. The "ridiculously friendly and accommodating" nature of the camp director and staff effectively serves as a form of "promotion," as it ensures a smooth and pleasant experience for event organizers, which is invaluable.
To inquire about hosting an event and to receive a tailored quote, interested organizations (such as churches, schools, youth groups, or non-profits) should contact Trinity Camp directly. They would be able to discuss specific availability, pricing models for group bookings, and how the camp can best meet the unique needs of your event. The "promotion" here is the seamless, enjoyable, and well-supported group experience they provide.

A really cozy place with a great atmosphere and view. Jan 23, 2025 · Timothy KellyWas invited to go here a looooong time ago with my best friend after going to her church. I was just reminded of it and reminiscing in the beautiful memories I had here and just had to leave a review. Awesome place, so much fun, beautiful and I remember making a lot of friends. This place stays in my heart nearly two decades later. I know there are kids having the times of their lives safely here and that makes it all the more special to me.
Oct 22, 2021 · Ben HarrisWesten had an awesome week! This was his first teen camp and it was Stars Wars themed. Since he's a Star Wars geek it was a perfect fit. He's been going for about 7 years and the director and staff counselors do an awesome job with the kids.
Jun 24, 2016 · Lynne LenziThis is the place I grew up going to camp as a kid, it is where I received Christ, it is where I serve as a counselor, it is where I have brought students from my youth group to attend summer camp, and it is now where we currently hold our yearly winter retreat. I highly recommend you consider this place to either attend camp or hold some type of conference, camp, retreat, training, etc.
