For local West Virginians, this location offers a convenient escape into the rugged and beautiful Appalachian Mountains, without requiring an excessively long drive from many of the state's population centers.
Northfork itself is a small town, characteristic of many communities found deep within West Virginia's coalfield region. The campground's specific address on Bancroft Lane suggests a setting that, while accessible, is likely tucked away enough to provide the desired peace and quiet that visitors seek. Accessing the campground would typically involve navigating West Virginia's scenic, often winding, state and local roads. While major highways might be some distance away, the beauty of the journey into this area is part of the overall experience, leading you deeper into the heart of the mountains.

Customer Reviews
I love this place piece and quite as long as somebody doesn't get out in there car and ribbon up the motor for hours and hours at a time
Ken and Tim are great. We have stayed there a couple of times now. If you are just visiting, you have to dump your tanks elsewhere. We stop at a truck stop on the way home. I think that's common for other camp sites up there as well.
Awesome Experience! Can't wait to Come Back!
This is a great place to bring the family or just come to be alone and ride. Close to Ashland wagon wheel and a lot of trails..
Great place to stay and great people..
