I absolutely love it here. Everyone is friendly. Water is clear. Swimming and fishing is great. Very peaceful. Park Manager is very helpful. Great place to live.

Lots of great people but the infrastructure is in bad shape and run down or empty old mobile homes. Numerous rentals with absentee owners. I had to lay stones out of my own pocket on a rented RV site to support my coach and lots of low hanging dirty trees that need to be taken down. Electric is too far from the site so I have to use a 50 amp extension. The manager is very nice and she is trying to make improvements but her hands are obviously tied by the owner's purse strings. There are some nice properties around the lake and the outside next to the corn field. You do get beautiful sunsets around the lake.

Update: The Park although not the most maintained and high class, is a finominal park to live in, as you have VERY cheap rent rates for the Northwest Ohio area, and even more so for rates outside of the region and even state. The manager is very friendly and does her best to accommodate all of the residence. There is a Beautiful Lake with a beach, although the beach isn't the most amazing and could definately use improvements, the scenery, and the 2 parks, with fishing, and swimming, food pantry, and community events accommodations along with the Park Manager Amy Myers and the maintenance team working to continously improve the Park, for the residence and their children. To answer the complaints I see in the other reviews... "Non-refundable fee" The fee is relatively cheap compared to most park applications from around $20 to $100 (depends which park you go to). "They didn't give me a reason for denying my application" You will find if you actually ask, and inquire on what could actually be a red flag for their approval process you can come to plenty of conclusions why you were denied. For these reason's I give the Woodlake Mobile Home Park a 4.5 Star Review

They charge a non refundable fee when you apply for a lot rental and turn you down without giving a reason. There are no soft pulls on my credit report from their "background check" (I looked) and I actually have a TSA security clearance as part of my job. Can't imagine what could have gone wrong but a friend of mine had the same experience. The pond isn't the only fishy thing about this place.
