Last month we stayed at the campground for one night. Super nice. A lot of space between each lot. There are showers and bathrooms. There is a park for the kids to play. Love the place. We will definitely go back.
It is a gated RV park with swimming, fishing, and trails for hiking, 4 wheelers, and golf carts. Very friendly residents.
My family owned a campsite here lot #59 when I was a kid, throughout the 1980s & into the 90s. It was some of the best times I’ve ever had and memories we’ve ever made in our lives. The only reason we don’t have it anymore is because my parents marriage broke up and assets had to be split up. There’s people that lived there year-round also. Back in the day they used to have water moccasins snakes in that lake and they did a whole bunch of different things to get them removed from the lake, so I don’t know now if that is the case .
It is a private campground with lots owned by residents!
Could be cleaned up, Mini golf needs help. Yhere are many "rules" stated on the handbook but there are many lots that need attention. We are excited to see the improvements made.
