Arrowood Mobile Home Community About

For many Georgians seeking affordable and practical housing solutions, mobile home communities offer a compelling alternative to traditional stick-built homes or apartments. These communities can provide a sense of neighborhood, often at a more accessible price point, and with the flexibility of mobile home living. In the vibrant and growing area of Grovetown, Georgia, one such option is the Arrowood Mobile Home Community.

Arrowood Mobile Home Community presents itself as a place where residents can find economical living without sacrificing convenience or a sense of belonging. While perceptions of mobile home parks can vary widely, Arrowood, like many established communities, strives to offer a stable environment for its residents. It's important for prospective residents to understand the unique characteristics of such communities, which often balance affordability with the communal aspects of shared living spaces.

The community has garnered mixed feedback, which is not uncommon for properties that serve a diverse resident base and aim to provide budget-friendly housing. One long-term resident highlights the enduring appeal of Arrowood, citing its quiet nature, safety, diversity, and friendly neighbors as key reasons for their decade-long stay. This perspective emphasizes the community's potential to foster a comfortable and supportive living environment, where residents look out for one another and maintain their properties.

On the other hand, some feedback points to challenges commonly faced by larger residential communities, such as noise concerns or maintenance issues like debris on streets. It's a reminder that living in any community involves shared responsibilities and that management often juggles multiple demands, especially when overseeing several properties. However, the consistent theme from long-term residents underscores the core value proposition of Arrowood: affordability and a sense of community for those seeking practical housing solutions in the Grovetown area. For many Georgians, particularly those associated with nearby military installations or seeking cost-effective living close to amenities, Arrowood Mobile Home Community offers a viable and enduring option.

Location and Accessibility

Arrowood Mobile Home Community is strategically located at 4477 Wrightsboro Rd LOT B6, Grovetown, GA 30813, USA. This address places it squarely within Grovetown, a rapidly developing city in Columbia County, Georgia. Grovetown is part of the Augusta metropolitan area and is particularly known for its close proximity to Fort Gordon.

The park's location on Wrightsboro Road offers excellent accessibility. Wrightsboro Road (State Route 223) is a significant thoroughfare connecting various parts of Grovetown and extending into Augusta. This means residents have direct and convenient access to a wealth of local amenities and key destinations.

One of the most significant advantages of Arrowood's location is its close proximity to Fort Gordon. This makes it an ideal living option for military personnel, their families, and civilians working at the installation, allowing for a short and manageable commute. This convenience is a major factor for many in the local community.

Beyond Fort Gordon, the community is also described as being "close to all shopping areas." This includes a variety of retail centers, grocery stores, restaurants, and other essential services that line Wrightsboro Road and the surrounding commercial districts in Grovetown. Residents can quickly access daily necessities, entertainment options, and medical facilities without extensive travel.

The accessibility extends to major transportation routes as well. While not directly adjacent to an interstate, Grovetown's road network provides relatively easy connections to I-20, which is a major east-west artery through Georgia. This allows for convenient travel to Augusta, Atlanta, and other destinations within and beyond the state, making Arrowood a practical base for both local living and broader travel needs. The blend of a suburban setting with access to major employment centers and amenities makes Grovetown, and by extension Arrowood, a highly accessible and desirable location for many Georgians.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

Arrowood Mobile Home Community offers a compelling residential option that is particularly well-suited for many local Georgians, especially those residing in or considering a move to the Grovetown area. Its suitability stems from a combination of practical benefits and community attributes that align with common priorities for affordable and convenient living.

Firstly, and perhaps most significantly, the "cheaper rent" stands out as a primary draw. In a housing market that continues to see rising costs, finding a truly affordable place to live is a significant challenge for many individuals and families. Arrowood provides a viable solution for those seeking to minimize housing expenses without compromising on having their own space. This financial advantage allows residents to manage their budgets more effectively, freeing up resources for other necessities or leisure activities. For locals working within the Grovetown and Augusta areas, particularly at Fort Gordon, this affordability makes their daily commute more feasible and their overall cost of living more manageable.

Secondly, the strategic location of Arrowood Mobile Home Community is a major asset for local residents. Its close proximity to Fort Gordon is invaluable for military personnel, contractors, and civilian employees who require a short and easy commute. Furthermore, being "close to all shopping areas" means that daily errands, grocery runs, dining out, and accessing essential services are all incredibly convenient. This level of accessibility enhances the quality of life for residents, saving time and reducing transportation costs. For Georgians rooted in the area, this seamless integration into the local infrastructure is a huge plus.

Thirdly, the community aspects highlighted by long-term residents paint a picture of a supportive and friendly environment. The description of "quiet, safe to live in," "diverse," and featuring "friendly neighbors" who "have each other backs" suggests a genuine sense of belonging. In an increasingly disconnected world, finding a neighborhood where people maintain their yards and actively support one another is a significant advantage. This communal spirit can be especially appealing to families or individuals looking to establish roots in a welcoming setting. While some concerns about noise or maintenance have been raised, the long-standing positive experience of a resident for over a decade underscores the consistent value and comfort the community provides.

Finally, while acknowledging that management has multiple properties to oversee, the fact that the manager is described as "very friendly" indicates a commitment to positive resident relationships. This human element contributes to a more pleasant living experience, fostering a sense of understanding and cooperation between residents and management.

In conclusion, Arrowood Mobile Home Community is a practical, affordable, and well-located option for Georgians seeking a mobile home living solution in Grovetown. Its combination of financial accessibility, strategic location, and a supportive community atmosphere makes it a suitable and appealing choice for a diverse range of local residents looking for a place to call home.

The place is not a good place to live. The management here is poor. Broken beer bottles and nails and screws in the streets. Also not enough dumpsters for this many residents. Many children running throughout the streets and acting disruptive. There is consistent and constant loud bass music playing invariably most days, local police and park management do nothing to quell the issues unless its within enforced noise ordinance hours.

I moved my mobile home in over10 years ago 2012. I like the area because it's quiet, safe to live in,diverse, and the neighbors are friendly. Most of the neighbors keep their yards clean. We have each other backs. It is close to Fort Gordon and all shopping areas. The manager is a very friendly person, and I might add that there is three other mobile home parks they have to manager. The management have a lot on their plate. So please understand what the management is up against. One thing for sure you will not find any cheaper rent then Arrowood mobile homes.

I lived here for a year and I wish I can give no stars it's a horrible place to live. Number 1 they gave us that trailer so dirty and nasty it smelled so bad and I stove took me three days to clean it. We took it cuz it was an emergency and didn't think it would be like that. Like they don't repair just put bandaids to cover up. The manager is rude. She didn't give us our security deposit just because we didn't give her a 30 day notice which I believe is stupid but whatever I was dying to leave that place and I'm happy I did. To a better better place. My friend also lived there and she didn't have central air conditioning they gave her two air conditioners that put her light bill every month to 300 dollars. Very unprofessional!!!!
