As part of the Florida State Parks system, Atlantic Beach Campground primarily operates under a standardized fee structure for camping, rather than offering frequent, short-term promotional discounts. The value provided is inherent in the well-maintained facilities, prime coastal location, and access to the extensive amenities and natural beauty of Fort Clinch State Park.
However, it's always recommended to check the official Florida State Parks website or contact the park directly for the most current information regarding fees and any specific programs that might be available. While direct monetary discounts are rare, visitors might find value in:
- Florida State Parks Annual Pass: For frequent visitors to Florida State Parks, an annual pass can provide cost savings on park entrance fees (though not directly on camping fees). This can make repeated visits to Fort Clinch and other state parks more economical over time.
- Group Rates: For educational or large youth groups, specific primitive group camping facilities might have different reservation policies or rates, which would need to be confirmed directly with the park.
- Seasonal Availability & Demand: While not a discount, booking during off-peak seasons might offer more availability and a quieter experience, often perceived as a "special offer" in itself. Reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance, emphasizing the need to plan, especially for popular times.
The primary "promotion" of Atlantic Beach Campground is its consistent delivery of a high-quality, amenity-rich, and naturally stunning camping experience at state park rates, which are generally considered very reasonable for the value provided. For precise camping fees and any park-specific details, please use the contact information below to get the most accurate information directly from Fort Clinch State Park.

Wonderfully relaxing time camping, beach combing, biking, and fishing with friends. Sites are an good size and flat with few trees. Bathrooms are large and well tended. Plenty of hot water. Will definitely be coming back
We arrived yesterday and unfortunately, had to leave today,as a hurricane is heading towards home. We will return!! I have returned 3 more times! Love this campground! You can watch big freight cargo ships, a submarine! And others come through the channel. The sunsets are marvelous and the beach, with great shelling, is only steps away.
Loved to camp out in this area. Easy and fast access to the beach. Able to see the sky full of stars ✨ at night. The camp ground is visited by deers multiple times a day. Facility building always keep clean.
A big thank you to the volunteers who are keeping this park so beautiful. Super clean bathrooms/shower (except for the campers who leave it in a mess!!! 😞). The volunteers cleaned twice per day, 7 days a week. Nice beach and plenty of trails to wander.
What a lovely park. We stayed at the Atlantic RV Campground and it was pretty great. Cross the dunes and you’re on the beach! 25 minute beach walk will get you to Fort Clinch where for $2.50 you can explore the 170 year old fort. Tons life of wild life. Deer seem to really enjoy hanging out near the camp. Armadillos always seem to be crossing the road, please watch your speed around here. We saw a beautiful sea turtle while walking to the fort. Not too many bugs in the campground, because of the proximity to the ocean. We got spot # 10, which I think is the best spot in this campground with direct view of the dunes and the Atlantic. The bathrooms are cleaned every day, showers are spacious with good water pressure. While fishing off the beach you can catch red fish, drum, whiting, pompanos, etc. Oh and Georgia is just across the channel. Stark teeth hunting is big here, too! Awesome, knowledgeable staff. We loved our 4 days here and are definitely coming back!
