Bald Ridge Campground is an amazing place to camp on the lake at a very reasonable price. Our primary interactions were with Cindy one of the camp managers at Bald Ridge Campground. She welcomed us with a smile and helped acclimate us to the campground. She even notified us of a cancellation for that weekend and asked us if we would like to switch because it was a great lake spot that's never available. We were so impressed that she would think to ask us. The property is well maintained, and you receive a gift upon arrival. The showers are private, and the heat turns on to keep the room warm. It's quiet at night and family friendly.
May 29, 2025 · Lauralee HartzogIt's one of the most beautiful campgrounds we've had the privilege of staying at. Spacious sites on Lake Lanier or you could stay in a more wooded spot while still having a peek at the lake. Loving the RV life. BTW they are very tent friendly as well!
May 28, 2025 · Eugene & Chrisann MergelI’ve stayed at a lot of campgrounds in my lifetime and had a lot of experiences with check ins, but the check-in for this memorial weekend camping was absolutely the best! Cindy greeted me with a wonderful smile and clearly explained everything I needed to know upon check-in. I highly recommend Ball Ridge Creek campground, and if you’re greeted by Cindy, you will be in luck! Campsite 10 was perfect as always because we have a member of our family who is handicap. Keep up the good work bald Ridge Creek. Forsyth county is doing a great job Maintaining This campground.
May 22, 2025 · Zak SaxonWe have been camping at Bald Ridge for 5 years now. It is like our second home during the summer months. We love the changes Forsyth County has made to the park and we love Cindy, the camp host. She knows our son by name and always greats us with a smile. They do fun activities for the kids on holidays and she always makes an effort to chat if she has time. Anytime we have had an issue Cindy has been very easy to reach and very helpful. This is a great campground that is very family focused and quiet. The boat ramp is easy to access and if you want to paddle board or kayak the coves are great for that.
May 03, 2025 · brie_briscoeThe campground itself was very nice and the woman at the gate was helpful however this was a terrible camping experience. Was woken up just before 7:30am by the grounds crew leaf blowing right in front of our site and by 7:40am literally leaf blowing in our tent camping site itself and mowing all around us. This was a Friday morning and we were obviously not the only group this disturbed as multiple families on our side of the campground immediately packed up and cleared out after this began. I understand the need to do grounds work before the heat hits but before 8am in someone’s literal tent site is beyond absurd. Wouldn’t return. 👎🏻
