It's a great place to be if you have kids or just want to meet new people. They have a lot of things to do. Hiking, biking, swimmimg, fishing, mini golf, and lots more.
May 25, 2025 · Daisy LanhamWe were guests of our family here for the weekend. What a beautiful place! We had a great time and plenty of choices for what to do. Amazing trails to hike, a water park, and mini golf. Very clean bathrooms and showers. I am looking forward to returning and taking in more trails. Beautiful and relaxing! I'm seriously considering buying a lot here.
Jul 27, 2024 · AshesThis is a POA campland that's privately owned by thousands of people. There are 28 miles of road to cruise around on with a gulf cart. Visitors may rent a gulf cart. The lake is beautiful, fishing us allowed, swimming, & boating (rafting, canoeing, etc.). There's a baby lake for swimming only (great for the kids), & yet another lake above to fish in. There's an internal general store for most common supplies. All summer long ice cream, food, & other goodies are sold there. The swimming pool & water recreation area is great for the whole family. Plenty of comfort stations for when nature calls & when one wants to shower. I literally stay there for most the fall, summer, & fall.
Jun 01, 2025 · Artizmo GizmoWe love Big Bear Lake! Been going there all our lives!
Apr 20, 2025 · Caprice DotyMy husband and I just spent a long weekend at Big Bear Lake in the Beavercreek campground this part of the park is very nice with the full hookup sites for RV. They are spaced well and not on top of each other with nice gravel pull through spots. Some of the cons about this park would be that they do not provide TP or hand soap which was not a big deal to us as we had our RV but for tent campers or anyone needing the restroom this is not good. Also unless you are a bike enthusiast, hiker or just love to ride around on a golf cart all day this place is boring. There is absolutely nothing to do. The lake is so small you could paddle around it in a kayak in probably about 15-20 mins if that. We didn’t even unload ours as it would have taken longer to do that than the ride around the lake. The place is all built up like a small city with hundreds of camps right on top of each other and the golf carts are ridiculous there are thousands of them everywhere they had a poker run on the Saturday that we were there and it looked like a bee hive there were so many. A lot of the people who are permanent campers like to ride through the campground blaring their music late at night. If you are looking for someplace to go and just sit this is it but we like to sight see and use the amenities inside the park and this just isn’t for us.
