Big Oaks Campground, as a popular and well-established family camping destination in Rehoboth Beach, typically structures its rates based on site type, season, and length of stay. While it may not advertise "special offers" in the traditional retail sense, there are inherent value propositions and potential seasonal considerations that act as incentives for prospective campers.
Seasonal Camping Options: Big Oaks offers seasonal sites, which can be a significant cost-saving option for those who wish to have a dedicated camping spot throughout the entire May 1st to October 1st season, often at a more economical rate than booking individual weekend stays.
Off-Peak Season Value: As noted in one review, staying during the "off season" (e.g., late spring or early fall) can provide a quieter experience with potentially more available sites and a more relaxed atmosphere, sometimes at a slightly adjusted rate compared to peak summer. It's always worth inquiring about these seasonal variations.
Inclusion of Amenities: The rates for campsites and rentals typically include access to all on-site activities, the swimming pool, and restroom facilities. This inclusive pricing model provides value by bundling entertainment and essential amenities into the stay.
Minimum Stay Requirements: Be aware that Big Oaks typically has a two-night minimum stay for reservations, and a three-night minimum for full hook-up sites on all holidays. While not a "promotion," understanding these policies can help in planning your budget and trip.
For the most current rates and any specific booking incentives, the best approach is always to contact Big Oaks Campground directly. They can provide precise pricing for your desired dates, site type, and duration, and inform you of any current offers or policies that might benefit your stay.

Customer Reviews
We enjoyed our stay here but the cabins seemed pricy for what they were..the cabins are very small. The sites are very close and our cabins were in FULLsun,no trees, therefore no privacy. I'm not sure I'd want to be here during the busy summer season but since we were here off season, alot of the sites were empty and it was quiet. The playground and pool were both clean and well maintained and the children spent alot of time there until our site finally had some shade at 6:30 pm
I thought it would be a nice stay for me and the kids but it was horrible. The service people was very rude to me and my kids. I don’t wish anyone to come here at all not even on my enemies. There was also a cockroach. The pools rule were ridiculous.
We took our travel trailer for a week, and had all the comforts of being home. When we arrived we noticed the site had trash left behind from the previous campers. Also, at the designated area for trash drop offs, it was very full. Overall, the grounds keeping could improve and be updated. Our biggest concern was the laundry room, the fact that fellow campers have no etiquette saddens us. We had to wait for other campers to retrieve their completed wash, so we could use them. The small W/D should be updated. (For small loads it took two times to get our lightweight items dry. $2.50ea/$5.00.) Again housekeeping lacked in this area. We did not use any other services on site. We liked that local places we’re easy to access and didn’t take much time. They do have a nice location and glad it supports travel campers. We would try Big Oaks again keeping everything in mind.
This campground was horrible. We arrived and we checked in. We had provided a ride for two who were not camping with us. Their ride had shown up even before we arrived. The check in person demanded I pay for two guests. I informed the person they were not staying and that their ride was waiting for them. I was forced to pay a fee for two extra people so I could get checked in. A few minutes later I was told that the driver of the two who ride with us had to pay a fee to pick them up. Needless to say the staff was very rude and informed the driver and the two who rode with us to never come back. Well we will never come back. I don’t recommend this campground again. We were not allowed guests without paying the extra fees no matter if they used their facilities or not.
This is my 3rd time camping at Big Oaks. I would recommend this campground to anyone. I stayed in one of the cabins each time. They were very clean and spacious. I had family members stay in a tent on a campsite. The bath houses are also very nice and clean. Also the bus service from the campground to the beach is very convenient. I will definitely stay there again.
