As a destination that aims to combine "a vibrant community atmosphere with the convenience of modern amenities," it caters to a diverse group of RV enthusiasts and even offers vacation rentals for those without their own rig.
RV living in Florida has grown in popularity, offering a more adaptable and often more affordable lifestyle compared to traditional homeownership. Communities like Blueberry Hill are designed to facilitate this, providing essential services and recreational opportunities within a managed environment. The idea is to create a "home away from home" where residents can enjoy the outdoors, participate in social activities, and have easy access to local attractions. However, like any community, experiences can vary, and understanding the nuances is key to finding the right fit for your Florida adventure.
While some guests have noted areas for improvement, such as occasional challenges with on-site staff responsiveness and site proximity, other feedback highlights the potential for a positive experience. Past reviews indicate a "very nice place, clean and well maintained" with "friendly staff that is very helpful." The resort boasts a heated pool, exercise room, game rooms, and planned activities like potlucks and bingo nights, suggesting a focus on community engagement. It's also noted for being pet-friendly with a dedicated dog park, a significant plus for many RVers.
Located conveniently near Interstate 75 in the cozy town of Bushnell, Blueberry Hill RV Community offers easy access to major Florida destinations while maintaining a more relaxed, rural feel. This article will delve into the specifics of Blueberry Hill RV Community, providing detailed information on its location and accessibility, the services and features it provides, potential offers, and concluding with an assessment of why it might be suitable for Floridians seeking an RV lifestyle. The park's proximity to Interstate 75 is a key highlight, as it's "just minutes from I-75." Promotions or Special Offers
Blueberry Hill RV Community, as part of the Sun Outdoors network, typically focuses on offering a range of value-driven options for both short and long-term stays, rather than fleeting commercial "promotions" in the traditional sense. Its core "special offers" are embedded in its flexible booking options and comprehensive amenities designed to enhance the RV resort experience.
- Flexible Stay Options: The ability to choose between nightly, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual rates serves as a significant "promotion" in itself. This flexibility allows Floridians to tailor their stay to their specific needs, whether it's a short vacation, a seasonal escape for "snowbirds," or a long-term residential solution. Annual sites, for instance, offer the "peace of mind of a guaranteed spot, ensuring that your favorite vacation destination is always within reach."
- Inclusive Amenities: The extensive list of amenities, including the heated pool, clubhouse facilities (game room, billiards, library, fitness center), sports courts (pickleball, shuffleboard, bocce ball, horseshoes), and planned activities, are generally included in the site fees. This means residents receive a high level of recreation and comfort without numerous additional costs, representing excellent value.
- Membership Discounts: As a Sun RV Community, Blueberry Hill often participates in discount programs such as Passport America, AAA, AARP, and Good Sam. These affiliations can provide significant savings on daily or weekly rates for members, serving as a direct "promotion" for those who qualify.
- Dedicated Pet Facilities: For pet owners, the presence of a beautiful enclosed dog park is a major "special offer," providing a safe and enjoyable space for furry companions, which can often be a challenge to find in other accommodations.
- Value of Location: The strategic location near I-75, close to major attractions like the Webster Flea Market and within an hour's drive of Tampa and Orlando, inherently offers a "promotional" advantage. It maximizes convenience for exploring Florida while providing a more relaxed base.

The option for "long-term stays" and "annual sites" with competitive rates, especially when considering the included amenities like cable and Wi-Fi, provides a more budget-friendly alternative to traditional housing. Customer Reviews
We stayed here for an endurance race, never saw anyone working here. Which is good and bad. Good because it was an easy check in, bad because we had a neighbor that stayed up partying one night, then got mad at us for being up and out the door at 6am. I called the office twice, left a message, never heard back. I would stay here again though. Also, management please upkeep your propane fire pits, ours was full of water and didn't work.
Aug 2024 (edited) Crowded RV pads and disappointing atmosphere. After staying for over a month at another Sun Outdoors Resort, we assumed the Bushnell Blueberry Hill location would be similar. We were very wrong. The sites were 8-10 apart. It was apparent there were numerous very long term residents with overgrown plants and yard decor giving the resort an unkept feeling. We arrived in the evening and left first thing the next morning, not even staying for the entire reservation. This resort is now on our “avoid” list. Would not recommend.
RV park in a nice area. Large spots. Pool, shuffleboard, billiards, clean facilities, billiards, and more. Walmart across the road, restaurants, ice cream shop, and much more, all within walking distance (or golf cart ride). UPDATE: Not so good. Overbearing on rules. Their rules are unclear, but they have no problem writing violations for unclear rule infractions. Example: They asked my wife to make sure our truck is 3 ft from the power pole next to us. I keep it 7 ft away, see the picture below. However, now they wrote me a violation because it wasn’t 3 ft to the side and front of the pole. A clear explanation would have been nice, before a violation.
Was looking for an RV site for year around and found this place. Both the wife and I agree it is the best place, paved site and driveway through the park and many amenities.
Absolutely one of the best parks in Central Florida. Very clean well maintained. Staff and guest are all wonderful. My husband and I stayed for 7 months and planned to stay longer had it not been for a job relocation. We would stay again. If your nearby or coming to the area I recommend staying with Sun Communities and Blueberry Hill you won’t regret it oh and the price was fantastic for the area.
