  • Annual Events: The park hosts various events like the Spring Market and the Bobby Brown Fishing Classic. While these are not "discounts," they are value-added experiences included with park access, sometimes with entry fees for specific tournaments.
  • Flexible Stays: Camping and yurt reservations require a two-night minimum, offering flexibility for weekend getaways.
  • Weekly Cabin Discount: If you rent the Petersburg Cabin for a week, you will receive one free night during the seven-night stay, a direct promotion for longer cabin rentals.

For the most current rates and any specific offers, especially for group rentals or extended stays, it is always recommended to contact the park directly or check their official website. Reservations for yurts and campsites can be made 11 months in advance, requiring a one-night deposit.

This particular park has been on our bucket list for almost 20 years. After losing our fur child a while back, we decided now was the time for some inner peace and talking to Jesus through nature's tranquility. Our stay in the Yurt has been just what we expected and all we need right now. They're very clean with comfortable beds and the bathhouse is as well. Looking forward to some fishing tomorrow in the beautiful lake.

Super nice staff and great camping spot in Elberton, GA. Beautiful lake and plenty of amenities. My wife and I took our niece and nephew for the weekend before our niece heads off to college. We RV and tent camped on this trip. Crazy storm the last night that was a cool experience. Next morning, I woke up early the last day to fish which is the picture I chose to post of the sunrise over the park. Memories to last a lifetime.

We were running around, looking for bait and supplies when we found this state park. The park manager and his team were having a Storm safety briefing when we arrived. The park manager advised us to stay for the night because the upcoming storm Helene had changed directions and was headed our way. They brought us a case of water and snack foods to get us through the night. They checked on us periodically through the evening and in the morning they moved a tree so we could safely exit the park. These guys are top notch professionals. Thank you for letting us stay there safely…
