For many Texans, finding a housing solution that balances affordability with a sense of community is a significant consideration. Mobile home parks often emerge as an option for those seeking a more flexible and potentially lower-cost alternative to traditional housing. Today, we're taking an in-depth look at Bridgeberry Mobile Home Park, located in Baytown, Texas. This community has garnered attention from local residents, and understanding their experiences provides valuable insight for anyone considering this living arrangement.
Bridgeberry Mobile Home Park is situated in a key area of Baytown, a city known for its industrial strength and proximity to the Houston Ship Channel. While manufactured home communities like Bridgeberry can offer the appeal of owning your home while leasing the land, resident feedback suggests that prospective tenants should approach with a clear understanding of the park's operational aspects. Reviews highlight both the advantages of its location and the challenges encountered with management and maintenance. For Texans weighing their housing choices in the Baytown area, a factual and transparent overview of Bridgeberry Mobile Home Park is essential for making an informed decision.
Bridgeberry Mobile Home Park is strategically located at 322 Massey Tompkins Rd, Baytown, TX 77521, USA. Baytown is a prominent city within the Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan area, in both Harris and Chambers counties. This location offers residents a blend of suburban living with robust industrial and commercial opportunities nearby.
The park's address places it within easy reach of key Baytown amenities and major transportation routes. Residents benefit from proximity to important infrastructure, including easy access to Highway 146 and Interstate 10, facilitating commutes to various employment centers, including the petrochemical industry prevalent in the area. For daily needs, the park is conveniently located near grocery stores, local restaurants, and retail options. It's also within the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District, which is an important factor for families with school-aged children.
Beyond daily necessities, Baytown offers recreational opportunities. The Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Center and Baytown Nature Center are within a short drive, providing residents with access to outdoor activities and natural beauty. Historical sites like Battleship Texas State Historic Site and San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site are also relatively close, offering educational and cultural excursions. While the area is largely car-dependent, as is typical for many suburban Texas communities, the proximity to various amenities means less time spent commuting for essentials. This combination of local convenience and regional accessibility makes Bridgeberry Mobile Home Park's location a significant consideration for Texans looking to settle in the Baytown area.
Mobile home parks typically offer basic services as part of their lot rental agreements. Based on the provided resident feedback, here's what can be inferred about the services at Bridgeberry Mobile Home Park:
Given the nature of the feedback from current and past residents, it is highly improbable that Bridgeberry Mobile Home Park would be offering traditional "promotions or special offers" such as discounts, move-in specials, or loyalty programs. The park's operational challenges, particularly concerning maintenance, management communication, and reported hidden fees, suggest a focus that is not on attracting residents through incentives but rather on the basic provision of lots.
Any "offers" would likely be limited to the standard terms of lot rental or home rental agreements, which, as indicated by reviews, can be subject to unannounced changes or additional charges. Prospective residents should prioritize obtaining a very clear and written understanding of all costs involved—including lot rent, utility responsibilities, and any potential fees for connections or repairs—rather than expecting promotional deals. The critical "offer" for this park appears to be its location and the availability of lots or manufactured homes, rather than any value-added financial incentives.
For inquiries regarding lot availability, current rental terms, or to attempt to clarify any of the issues raised in public reviews, you should contact Bridgeberry Mobile Home Park directly.
Given the significant concerns expressed by previous tenants regarding management responsiveness and transparency, it is highly recommended that any communication be documented, and all agreements be obtained in writing. An in-person visit to assess the condition of the park and to speak with current residents, if possible, would also be a crucial step before making any commitments.
For Texans considering Bridgeberry Mobile Home Park in Baytown, its suitability hinges on a very specific set of priorities and a high tolerance for potential challenges.
Potential Suitability Factors for Certain Locals:
Critical Considerations and Caution for Locals: However, the significant and repeated negative feedback from residents presents major red flags that Texans must thoroughly investigate before considering a move here. Issues such as:
In conclusion, Bridgeberry Mobile Home Park might attract Texans looking for a low-cost entry into homeownership via a mobile home in a convenient Baytown location. However, this park appears to come with substantial risks related to safety, maintenance, financial transparency, and management relations. For locals, a diligent and cautious approach is paramount. This includes an extensive in-person inspection of the park's condition, meticulous review of any lease agreement, and a direct, detailed conversation with management about all fees and responsibilities, especially concerning utilities and maintenance, to ensure it aligns with Texas tenant rights and personal expectations. The repeated warnings from former tenants ("Do not move here," "Think twice before moving here") should be taken very seriously by any prospective resident.

May 15, 2025 · johnny cabreraYou're better off buying land or renting elsewhere. The landlord raises your lot rent WITHOUT notice. She's rude and will charge you for electrical post when you move your home in and for water meter. She tried that with me knowingly she is to provide connection service ON the property. Tenants aren't happy here from the feedback I received. It is a nice place and friendly neighbors, but things go south when you deal with her. Think twice before moving here.
Jun 07, 2023 · Denisse ArreolaYou're the smart very large store for such little selection and when you're in self checkout they breathe down your neck and stare at you like you're about to steal something. After that and all of your items are bagged with receipt in hand they will still try to stop you and check your bags as if again you are a criminal. Walmart needs to change this Behavior or they are going to lose some very valuable customers including myself. Walmart is the devil
