Perfect for an overnight stay or two. Easy access from I-20. The train is loud, but most of the time I slept right through the noise. Most of the park is long term. The outside few spots are for travelers. The park is well kept with no "trash" 😉. The owner was on site to meet us and help us get parked! We were able to park door to door with our family members. I highly recommend this campground.

The five stars are based on the friendly and helpful reception we recieved as well as the assistance in setting up. We stayed at the park as an overnight stop. It was a pleasant stop with easy hook-up. The site was level and the area well maintained. There is a well stocked Dollar Tree/Family Dollar within walking distance. Also, there is a meat market next door to the Dollar stores. We missed out on that because it closed just before we arrived. Warning: There are only three overnight spots available so I would recommend calling for a reservation.

Calhoun was great for our quick overnight stop. Beautiful spot next to a lake. David and Rebecca are super friendly and accommodating. The spots are close to each other, but level and include water, sewer and power. David was helpful in pulling into our spot and making sure we were happy. We'll be staying again on our return trip through town.

Excellent property! The owner, Dave was very helpful and friendly. He helped us get in our spot after dark. We had a blow out the day before and he directed us to a local tire place in the morning. He also brought us donuts in the morning! Beautiful campground, we will definitely return to!

We arrived in the middle of a crazy storm and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They showed us to our site and made sure everything was working. Woke up to a beautiful view of the pond. They even put firewood in all the fire pits which is a nice touch. We were just passing through for the night but would definitely stay again!
