Customer Reviews
Over 55 community. We have have a 40 foot RV that we park there every winter and go there to stay whenever we get time off to get away from the cold winters up north. The park is split into two sections, the north and south parks. We have always had a space in the south park but we go to the north park to partake in the activities when we stay there. They have activities all the time such as Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day, and a bunch of other events. The management is really nice, the people are extremely pleasent and it's a very nice atmosphere. If you are retired or semi-retired like us, would like a place to stay in the winter - or are looking for a community in the warm sunshine of Florida check them out. Lake Wales is a community that is growing quickly. In the last couple of years we have been staying it have grown so much it's hard to believe. It's a couple hours south of Disney and just a great place to get away from the ice and snow of December and January.
Stayed there for 6 months while working. It isn't much however; it does have showers and a washer and dryer. The people their are great unlike the racist down the road.
If you are 54 or less don't bother calling! Very rude assumed my age before he even knew it. My husband is 53, and we've stayed at other 55+ communities. We have no children, under 29. I've been told this is considered age discrimination and will be following up. Needless to say they don't like any younger than 55. I wonder about their kids or grandkids.
I moved my camper in a week ago. I love it here. People are friendly, staff is helpful and other than traffic noise its awesome. You get use to the traffic though. No biggie at all.
