Promotions or Special Offers

As a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE) campground, Cape Fair typically operates under federal recreation fee schedules, meaning it generally does not offer commercial "promotions" in the same way a private business might. However, there are established discount programs for eligible individuals that can result in significant savings on camping fees. It is always recommended to check official channels or inquire directly for the most current information.

Potential "special offers" or discounts that are commonly available at COE campgrounds like Cape Fair include:

  • America the Beautiful – National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Pass Series:
    • Senior Pass: U.S. citizens or permanent residents aged 62 or over are typically eligible for a 50% discount on standard campsite fees.
    • Access Pass: U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities may also qualify for a 50% discount on standard campsite fees.
    • Other passes (like Annual Pass, Military Pass) may cover entrance fees to federal lands but usually do not provide direct discounts on camping fees unless specifically stated. Always confirm the benefits of your particular pass.
  • Off-Peak Season Rates: While the base daily rate might remain constant, camping during the less busy shoulder seasons (e.g., late spring before peak summer, or early fall after summer crowds) often means more availability and a quieter, more relaxed experience. It's worth inquiring if any seasonal rate adjustments apply.
  • Extended Stay Information: COE campgrounds often have maximum stay limits (e.g., 14 days within a 30-day period). While not a discount, understanding these policies is crucial for longer trips.

For the most precise information regarding current rates, campsite availability, and any discounts you may be eligible for, the most reliable methods are to either call Cape Fair Campground directly using the contact numbers provided or to visit the Recreation.gov website, which manages reservations for most COE campgrounds.

2nd year here & can't complain. The place is quiet during the week & of course more active on weekends. Great for some time away as a couple or with family. Walking, fishing, enjoying time with your dogs, or even just enjoying nature. People are friendly, both at gate, and marina. The only drawback is that the shower bathrooms are up by marina, and the showers are small and only had COLD water. Great during summer, but not so much is the cooler months.

beautiful marina at cape fair - the restaurant is great, good food and prices. in the summer, its really busy so if you're wanting to rent a boat, call them early and schedule - we have gotten rentals as early as 6am for our family! don't forget to gas up and get fishing lures and snacks at their general store too - super convenient if you have a family out there. sometimes, the parking lot does get flooded, so call them ahead of time!

It's always lovely staying at Capefair. The grounds and campsites are well maintained, and it's on a quiet arm of the lake. There's a marina nearby where you can put in your boat, where they also offer rentals. Plus there's a small store on the marina, as well as a restaurant.

We are loving it here. We always love Table Rock lake but its always so busy and commercialized. This place gave us the quiet get away we wanted. Some slow curvy roads getting here but we pulled our boat behind our 5th wheel just fine. Caught a couple nice large mouth bass from the bank. There is a Dollar general just a few minutes away for the few little things we needed. Camp site we are in has plenty of shade close to the water. Plan to make it back here again.
