A hidden gem. Don't panic as you turn into the driveway. There is an RV park at the end. 8 spots nestled in a oak grove surrounded by cedar trees. Deer roam freely in the park. Laundry is free (just furnish your own supplies) and there is a putting green and two turf areas that you use for driving golf balls, although neither is maintained anymore. Cable TV was present at the site. It was very quiet and secluded. Power was good but water pressure was low. Wifi was good. Cash or check at present. The only thing that really bugged me about the place was the number of "free-ranging" cats - WAY TOO MANY! According to the Audubon Society and other wildlife organizations, outdoor cats are responsible for killing in excess of 2 billion songbirds annually. Would I stay here again if in the area? Yes. Would I like to see the cats disposed of? Also yes.
A great place to stay for a few days with our Dogs. Owner was very nice and accommodating, very peaceful site with lots of space for our RV. Highly recommend!!!!!
Great place to stay any time of year. Far enough out of town to be quiet and close enough to be a short drive in. Polished cedar furniture and trim throughout. The only negative at all was the reservation service that we used. They weren't exactly First Class when they didn't follow through on their commitment but we didn't let it ruin our anniversary.
Very rude and disrespectful owner. He comes off as nice, but that is definitely not the case. Swore at me and called me disrespectful names in front of my children. Not a pleasant landlord. Have your own Wi-Fi because it's there's is weak. Washing machine breaks down and doesn't drain the water. Only 2 washers and 2 dryers for the entire park.
This RV park is still open (just called to verify). It's a great place to stay.
