This "ride-in/ride-out" convenience is highly valued by New Hampshire's enthusiastic off-roading community. For traditional campers, the location is close to many nearby hiking trails, part of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, and major landmarks like the iconic Mt. Washington, providing a scenic backdrop to the entire property. The relative lack of night-time traffic on Muzzy Hill Road contributes to a quiet, relaxing evening atmosphere, despite the easy access to high-energy daytime activities.

We loved it here!! We were only able to spend one night but we had a great time. The owner is the nicest guy and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. They have firewood, fire starter, ice, bug spray, maps of the trails, etc. for sale at very fair prices. The sites are a good size and are very private, and they are just across the road from a little beach. Clean bathrooms and shower too which was awesome. Just a 10 minute drive from Jericho State Park. We hope to be back in the area soon and will definitely be staying here again!
Jun 22, 2025 · Willow GajdaHad a tremendous mini vacation at Cedar Pond CG. The lake and private beach are excellent. Location for going on the trails was perfect. (We have a sxs and road Jericho as well as all points north. We went to the Canadian boarder as well) The sites are all very level. The free showers are clean and the water was Hot. I was a little concerned about our site being next to the road, but I was pleased that there is really no night time traffic. It was very quiet The free Father's Day breakfast was certainly a treat. Will definitely stay here again.
Jun 16, 2025 · Erik Rice⭐ 1/5 – Trashy Campground Run by Even Trashier People This place was a disaster. The site was dirty, the bathrooms were disgusting, and nothing worked like it was supposed to. But the worst part? The owners. Both husband and wife were unbelievably rude—condescending, unhelpful, and downright nasty to deal with. After we left, we heard even worse from others who’ve stayed there. Apparently their bad attitudes and shady behavior are no secret in the area. Zero professionalism, zero hospitality. It felt more like dealing with angry squatters than campground hosts. Stay far, far away.
Jul 27, 2025 · Deana DesimoneHusband and wife duo. Donna was helpfull and seems to keep hubby in check. He comes across like a jail guard making sure everyone locks down at 10. Talks to guests as if they are skinners in a jail. No customer relations at all. On top of all this my cabin was right by the road. Donna is a sweet heart. Hubby not so much. Go elsewhere and save the aggravation w dealing with the jail guard, hubby. I definitely will Not be returning and STRONGLY, recommend going elsware. AVOID THE AGRREVATION OF THIS MANS HOSTILITY. P.s I'm sure he knows what a skinner is and by the way I give him No compliments at all. Keep reading the reviews and notice he seems to have an excuse for all his wrong doings.
Sep 22, 2025 · sam millsAbsolutely awful experience at Cedar Pond Campground in Milan, NH. The owner was rude from the second we pulled in, yelling at us to get out of the road. He nickel-and-dimed us for everything, including surprise charges for power use that were never mentioned on the website. Kids weren’t even allowed to ride bikes, and our neighbors were so uncomfortable they left early. The whole place felt hostile and unwelcoming — we left pissed off and will never be back.
