This was a great place to camp for the weekend. There’s less privacy between camp sites than some other campgrounds, but everyone was very respectful of quiet hours. Easy access to water and bathrooms, beautiful river views, firewood available to purchase. Dogs were all leashed and well-behaved, mine had a great time!
Aug 06, 2024 · Meg Nina MillerThis is a great, quiet campground on the water. Good for fishing and non-motorized boats. The river is very quiet. The view of the stars are amazing here. It is a leashed, Dog Friendly Campground, which is great!! No power in camp sites, water spigots are located within 200ft of all sites. No generators are allowed at this campground. There is a small camp store, for anything you forgot, including firewood, Please don't bring your firewood from out of state, we don't want your bugs. Located 3 minutes from the center of Errol, (Food, Fuel, Supplies). I included pics of all of the sites in the main campground, except 41 & 42 at the very end. I also did not include pics of Osprey & Moose Crossing camp sites, which are approximately 2500ft & 1 mile North of the Seven Islands Bridge on the east side of Rt 16. Those are tight entrances for full size trucks, the driveway brush could be trimmed back, but good overhead tree coverage at the sites for shade.
Jul 15, 2023 · Brian FoxSpent five days here. Great swim and fishing spots and we were planning on coming again in the fall. Was told we could stay later on our last day by another man working the booth and there was no need to rush. It was 11:15 am and we were packing up. The man in the scally cap freaked out at us and called us “lazy” when we were leaving. I asked if there was another campsite in our spotThere were maybe 5 other campsites booked. there on a Wednesday. The scallycap guy needs to take a course on de-escalation and working with clients and keeping customers. Told us we were short staffed, i am sure they are, but hadn’t seen them for days. My guess is that he was having some odd power trip. Honestly one of the worst interactions ive ever had with someone that works anywhere. I’ve been a customer service manager for 7 years.
