Much more than I expected. From Google Maps I was picturing us in an open field with no shade, and that was not the case. It’s a huge field that’s lined by trees and fire pits on the outside, so all sites have access to trees/shade, and 50% of the sites have access to the river. NOTE: our site #19 did not have easy access, but site 27 had direct access. Aside from all of the duck poop it would have been a great spot for kids and a family to camp. Either way the host Steve was very friendly and eager to help us out. The showers were HOT and so great after a long day of mountain biking in Canada! Overall a great experience and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to access Coaticook or East Hereford.
Jul 05, 2025 · Jeremy WeirIf you are looking for a place to stay the night in the area, go here !! 🏕🚙🎣🏊♂️ Diane and Steve for have a lovely place, can't wait to come back! The place is by the river separating NH and Vermont. We used the fire pit to make a feast and we had a picnic table. The toilets are great, felt like home. Come here for a rest on your ride ! Great space ! Great people ! Thank you ✨️
Aug 25, 2025 · Claire PomarWe’ve stayed here in the past, but this year is our first with the new owners. I can say they go well out of their way to make all guests happy and feel welcome. They are super friendly and on top of all your needs! They are even kind enough to offer breakfast and coffee on the weekends. We will definitely be coming back to Champion Meadows.
Aug 31, 2025 · Samantha SteereGreat time at champion MeadoW. My sister and i were in Desperate search for a campground going towards lake Francis and it was getting pretty late ! After calling many différent campgrounds, no luck we décidéd to play it by ear and try our luck. There was just a little sign 'campground 1000 feet' arriving in this little town and that's how we ended in this beautiful campground ! Very simple, you get to choose among several cute campgrounds, Diana and Steve are very welcoming and will make you feel at home. There's even a beach arranged for all campers to spend time by the river. Bbq rings for cooking too, great showers, very calm. Meadow campground, trying it is definitely adopting it. Live free or die !
