Customer Reviews
Amazing little place! Cabins are older but charming, and VERY clean. Owners, Hugh and Charlotte are super sweet. We even rented a pontoon at a very fair price and it was super clean and so much fun. Upon entering we weren't sure, but trust me, it's a little piece of heaven. You won't regret staying!!!!
This is a great place for a short stay with your spouse, meeting with friends for a fishing trip, or even family reunions. My family & I have done each of these here over the last few years. They have nice clean cabins (variety of sizes), protected swim area for the family, and the most reasonably priced boat rentals on the lake. They have a boat ramp as well if you have your own. You will need to plan ahead as they typically stay booked and parking is often limited or tight. This place planted a seed that eventually brought my wife and I to relocate to Cedar Creek Lake from Fort Worth. I highly recommend this hidden gem.
Nice guy running the place but I think the other reviews are fake. This is a VERY small tent only campground in a back yard, there's only about six spots and I don't see an rv or camper even being able to get in there. The bathrooms are gross and the showers are basically unusable. So its 40 bucks for a partially shaded camp spot with power but basically no facilities.. I gave it 3 stars only because we caught fish and it was quiet.
Had a pleasant experience tenting for 3 nights. Everything went smoothly. The lake is nice and so is the nearby city of Athens, being full of attractions.
Great views of the lake from the Upper Eagles Nest. You are 30 ft from the water. Very friendly and is family owned and operated. Plenty of places for fishing and swimming. Boat rentals are offered here too. We will be back!!
