Promotions or Special Offers

However, there are aspects that can be considered "offers" in terms of value or booking convenience:

  • Affordable County Park Rates: County parks often offer more budget-friendly camping rates compared to private campgrounds, providing excellent value for a well-maintained facility with good amenities. Specific rates would be available on the Eau Claire County Parks & Forests website or by calling the park.

  • Online Reservation System: The ability to reserve campsites in advance (details on how far in advance should be confirmed) is a valuable feature, ensuring that campers can secure their preferred spot, especially during peak seasons like Memorial Weekend, as highlighted in reviews. This reduces uncertainty and improves planning.

  • Seasonal Passes/Permits (for park access): While not directly for camping, county parks often have vehicle or trail passes that can be purchased for the season, offering savings for frequent visitors to the broader park system. It's worth inquiring if such passes apply to or offer benefits at Coon Fork.

We stayed a couple of nights over Memorial weekend and everything was good. This is a clean and well kept campground. Glad to see the new welcome office and that the campground is kept up year after year. We stayed with our camper in a nonelectric site so we could, for the first time, try dry docking and everything went great. The bathhouse and restrooms were clean and very nice. Great walking paths and sunsets. Best place for kayaking and pond fishing.

Fun little lake and campground. This is a man made lake and campgrounds. It is 5-ish miles east of Augusta, WI. The lake is about 1 mile long and 1/2 mile wide. This was the worst year the park ranger has ever seen for mosquitoes.

Great place to camp. The D loop does have water and electric sites that are near the dock and dam. I would recommend bringing your own wood. The wood we purchased from the office was very wet. The playgrounds near the campsites need some work. Overall we had a great stay.

We stayed one night on our travel back to MN from FL. What a wonderful campground. Beautiful views of the lake. Sites are level and private. Bathrooms and showers are clean. New dump station. The staff went above and beyond meeting our needs.
