-
Affordable County Park Rates: Harstad County Park offers competitive and accessible camping rates. As of available information, non-electric sites are $20.00/night or $120.00/week (7 nights), and electric sites are $25.00/night or $150.00/week (7 nights). Customer Reviews
Nice spacious campsites, some have electrical and handicap access. Looks like a brand new pavilion. Very nice with playground equipment. They did have an area where wood was for sale. They have a hand pump for water. And I was told it was very good. We just did a drive-through and did not camp here. It is self registration. The campground road is not paved. They have a swimming area and an area that you can fish the river. May change my status once we have stayed there.
Wish they had showers and a map of the park, but otherwise it's perfect. Very peaceful, and it's self-registration so it can't be booked a head of time!
This is a decent access point for paddling the Eau Claire River. Cars left here will need to pay for parking if not already paying for camping at the park. The access requires a substantial carry or drag to a set of stairs with a boat slide down to the water. There is a pit toilet near the landing.
Solo bike trip, over 1200 miles total. Stopped for the night. No fire wood on sight, I had to ride my bike into town and carry fire wood back between my legs and on the gas tank of my bike. Very quiet and minimalist sites. But when you're looking for a nice country wooded campsite with water near by, this place is great. Have always liked camping here.
This place has some of the biggest sites in wisconsin. Every site has a bathroom that is accessible by a very short walk. The E.C. river is also a short walk from the sites. There's a spring fed creek that flows into the river here creating one of the deepest holes on the river. Great place for muskie and walley. The spring fed creek is usually no deeper than knee deep. There's a huge pavilion area with a semi playground for children and just above that through a trail uphill there's a backfield with bleachers.
