⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Council Cup Campground is an absolute gem! We visited over the 4th of July and it was unforgettable. The live band felt like a full-on concert—great energy, great music. The fireworks show was spectacular, lighting up the whole sky. The natural beauty here is unreal—peaceful woods, tons of wildlife like deer and wild turkeys roaming freely. Every morning, I caught fresh rainbow trout in the stream—can’t beat that for breakfast! Perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and nature. Already planning our next trip!
Jul 14, 2025 · Brian BrzozowskiWe stayed at here for 2 nights. The seasonal campers were all so nice. It's a family ran campground and the owners were nice and welcoming as well. They have turkeys and ducks and chickens running around the front area which was cute. Would come back and recommend
Oct 09, 2024 · Tammy TotaroRemembering this experience to the best of my ability. We went to this place a few years back and had a pretty good experience. We came back up here for a weekend getaway with friends. We were given a good amount of space to camp so no complaint to that. Upon arrival, the portable bathroom was not clean at all and had clearly not been serviced for some time. One of our friends attending the trip was turned away from the campground for bringing her dog. Their website says they are pet friendly so definitely misleading. This friend drove almost two hours just to drive back. Throughout the trip, there were guns going off on the property which scared us a lot, being out and vulnerable with no cell service. Most of the campground doesn't have camping spaces because there are trailers with what looked like people living there full time. We had left the site on Sunday to come back to the gate being closed with no way of getting back in the campsite because the office was closed! Someone that maybe works or lives at this place had the gate opened for us but that was really confusing. So that means we wouldn't be able to get out either if we left after the office closed?! We had a good time camping but would not recommend staying here.

Sep 15, 2024 · R LeeMy boyfriend took me to this campsite for my first ever camping experience, we did tent camping. Highly recommended, the staff are a lot of fun, and there’s lots of music events. We stayed across the street next to the creek, it was beautiful. Also, there’s a trail that leads to waterfalls.
