Crestwood Mobile Home Trailer Park About
For many Pennsylvanians, finding an affordable and comfortable place to call home is a significant consideration. The housing market can be challenging, and exploring various living options is a smart approach. One such option, often overlooked but offering unique benefits, is a mobile home park. In Brookville, Pennsylvania, Crestwood Mobile Home Trailer Park provides a distinct residential community, offering an alternative to traditional housing. This article aims to shed light on Crestwood Mobile Home Trailer Park, providing factual information to help potential residents in the Pennsylvania region understand what this community offers.
Crestwood Mobile Home Trailer Park represents a segment of the housing market that prioritizes community living and often provides a more accessible entry point to homeownership. It’s a place where residents typically own their manufactured homes and lease the land, fostering a sense of neighborhood while often maintaining a lower cost of living compared to traditional stick-built homes. Understanding the dynamics of such a community is key to determining if it’s the right fit for your lifestyle and needs in Pennsylvania.
Crestwood Mobile Home Trailer Park is situated at 369 Crestwood Cir, Brookville, PA 15825, USA. This location places it within the charming borough of Brookville, a community known for its historical roots and scenic surroundings in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. Brookville itself is strategically located near major roadways, offering accessibility to larger towns and cities while maintaining a distinct small-town atmosphere.
The park's address on Crestwood Circle suggests a localized, potentially quieter setting away from the immediate hustle and bustle of major thoroughfares. However, its proximity within Brookville ensures residents have reasonable access to local amenities. Brookville is a county seat, meaning it provides essential services, including local government offices, schools, and basic shopping and dining options. For residents of Crestwood, this means that daily necessities are typically within a short driving distance. The overall accessibility to the broader Pennsylvania road network would depend on how easily one can connect from Crestwood Circle to main roads like PA-322 or Interstate 80, which are significant arteries for travel across Pennsylvania. This blend of local tranquility and regional connectivity can be an appealing factor for those considering a move to a mobile home community.
Mobile home parks typically offer specific services to their residents, primarily related to the infrastructure and maintenance of the community itself. While specific detailed lists of services for Crestwood Mobile Home Trailer Park are not publicly available, based on the nature of mobile home parks and insights from resident reviews, we can infer the core services provided:
Lot Leases: The fundamental service offered by any mobile home park is the leasing of individual lots to residents who own their manufactured homes. This lease typically includes access to the park's infrastructure.
Utility Connections: Essential utilities such as water, sewer, and often electricity are connected to each mobile home lot. While residents typically pay for their individual consumption, the park facilitates the hookups to these municipal or private services. Public reviews mention issues related to water bills, indicating that water service is provided, and its management is a key aspect of the park's operations.
Common Area Maintenance: Mobile home parks are responsible for maintaining common areas, which include roads within the park, street lighting, and shared green spaces, if any. One resident review specifically highlights concerns about the need for major repairs on driveways, indicating that road maintenance is a service that the park is expected to provide.
Trash Removal: While not explicitly stated, most mobile home communities arrange for communal trash collection services for their residents.
Community Management: The park provides a management structure responsible for overseeing the community, enforcing park rules, collecting lot rents, and addressing resident concerns. Resident comments about the owner and past management highlight this aspect of service.
Based on the provided information and the general characteristics of mobile home parks, here are some features and potential highlights of Crestwood Mobile Home Trailer Park:
Affordable Living Option: Mobile home parks generally offer a more cost-effective housing solution compared to traditional homes. For those in Pennsylvania looking for budget-friendly living, this can be a significant draw, often providing lower monthly housing expenses (lot rent plus utilities) than a mortgage and property taxes on a stick-built home.
Sense of Community: Mobile home parks often foster a close-knit community atmosphere. Residents typically live in close proximity, which can lead to neighborly interactions and a supportive environment. The review mentioning residents needing to "pay their bills" suggests an awareness of collective responsibility within the community.
Individual Home Ownership: Residents own their manufactured homes, providing them with autonomy and the ability to personalize their living space, unlike renting an apartment.
Dedicated Lot Space: Each home is situated on its own leased lot, offering a degree of privacy and outdoor space that might not be available in other affordable housing types, such as apartments.
Location in Brookville, PA: Being located in Brookville offers residents access to local schools, basic services, and the charm of a smaller Pennsylvania town, while still being within reach of larger regional centers via major roads like I-80.
It is important to note the concerns raised in customer reviews regarding property upkeep, specifically driveway repairs, and issues with residents paying bills which impacts the park's ability to fund necessary maintenance. These points indicate areas that potential residents might want to inquire about directly with the park management.
Mobile home parks, including Crestwood Mobile Home Trailer Park, typically do not offer promotions or special offers in the same way retail businesses or larger housing developments might. Their pricing structure is generally based on the monthly lot rent.
However, prospective residents might find "offers" in the form of:
Competitive Lot Rent: The primary "promotion" for a mobile home park is often its competitive lot rent compared to other housing options in the area. This affordability is a continuous draw rather than a temporary special.
Inclusion of Certain Utilities: In some parks, certain utilities (like water or trash) might be bundled into the lot rent, simplifying billing and potentially offering a perceived saving, though this is part of their standard operational model rather than a short-term promotion.
Lease Incentives (Rare): Very occasionally, particularly if a park has several vacant lots, they might offer a small incentive for new residents, such as a reduced first month's rent or a waiver of an application fee. However, this is uncommon and would need direct inquiry.
Given the public reviews that touch upon financial challenges impacting property maintenance, it is less likely that explicit promotions are a regular feature. Instead, the inherent value of affordable homeownership on leased land is the main "offer." Prospective residents should inquire directly with the park management about current lot rent, any associated fees, and what is included in the monthly lease.
For those interested in learning more about Crestwood Mobile Home Trailer Park, including inquiries about lot availability, rental terms, or community rules, direct contact is the best approach.

For many Pennsylvanians, particularly those in and around the Brookville area, Crestwood Mobile Home Trailer Park offers a distinctive and potentially suitable living arrangement. Its suitability for locals hinges on several key factors, primarily revolving around affordability and a specific style of community living.
In an era where housing costs continue to rise, mobile home parks like Crestwood provide a viable pathway to homeownership for individuals and families who might find traditional housing financially out of reach. Owning the manufactured home while leasing the land can significantly reduce the upfront costs and ongoing financial burden compared to purchasing a conventional house. This makes it an attractive option for first-time homebuyers, retirees on a fixed income, or anyone looking to minimize housing expenses without sacrificing the benefits of having their own private space.
Beyond the financial aspect, mobile home communities often foster a unique sense of camaraderie. While specific details about the community culture at Crestwood are limited, mobile home parks inherently encourage neighborly interactions due to their layout. For those who value a quiet, residential environment where neighbors are likely to know each other, this type of community can be very appealing. It provides a more intimate setting than larger, sprawling subdivisions.
Furthermore, its location in Brookville, PA, adds to its appeal. Residents can enjoy the benefits of small-town living, including a slower pace, local businesses, and a sense of belonging to a community. While concerns about property upkeep have been noted in reviews, these are issues that prospective residents can address directly with management, and they highlight the importance of clear communication within such a community. For Pennsylvanians seeking an affordable, community-oriented, and relatively quiet place to live, Crestwood Mobile Home Trailer Park offers a practical and accessible option to consider.
Customer Reviews
If all people there would pay their bills not just a few, the owners would be able to fix the place up. But when they have to continually pay their water bills n barely any lot rent comes in. There’s no money to fix things. Bc there money has to go to pay the water bills so it doesn’t get shut off. The owner is a very nice guy just tired of being taken advantage of. All bc of the person that ran the place while they weren’t around. So just a thought keep that in mind.
Drive way needs major repairs with the big holes in there and tired of fixing my vehicle because of them and the landlord lives out of state and doesn't keep the up keep on the property.
The road around the place will damage your car! Even at the 10mph recommend speed, I wont be driving here again..
Landlord is hard to live with. L Neighbors are great though.
