I'll start with service. Bob made sure we could maneuver into our assigned site, he drove me to it in his truck to verify it was OK and we could get in and out without problems. We have a 40ft class A diesel pusher and we were towing a jeep so we needed a pull through site. He made sure we got the discounts we were eligible for and we feel it was a good value for our money. The sites and the whole park are "adequate". One can tell at some point in the past this was a very nice park. We used the shower house. It was adequately clean and the shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. It's across the street from a steel plant so during the day there's plenty of noise from that but it quits around 3 and just street traffic noise after that. We'll keep coming back as it's a convenient, adequate stop at a reasonable price with good customer service.
Apr 04, 2024 · Steven RiesI have never had this many issues at an RV park. The park manager tells you one thing then comes back and says you can’t do that and blames the owners. Threatens to tow your vehicles when you park exactly how he tells you to. Speeds through the park when you light your small personal grill(allowed in rules). Claims you have 4-5 complaints on you over night but yet I talk to all my neighbors and no one has had an issue. Claims loud vehicles mess up everyone’s tv in the park. Also I have heard if you park in the grass(weeds) they will make you replace with sod. The only thing here is weeds due to lack of lawn care. Also don’t expect Wi-Fi for all your devices. If you want to stay in a park that is ran like a nursing home then you should definitely come here. If you are human and like to be outside and cook or have a drink with friends or family then you will be threatened to be kicked out. And at the same time be told that they will call the other parks in the area that they own so that you can’t move. I’m not sure if they own anymore but if they do I hope they aren’t run like this one. 20hrs after leaving a review I get evicted lol.
Apr 11, 2024 · Alvin HowardThis is not a destination park. But it is sufficient for a short stay. The manager is a nice helpful guy, and accommodating. This RV Park is clean, and well manicured. Gravel roadways and pads, grassy areas in between. Dogs have their own area. This is right across from a Steel plant and can be noisy during the week day, but quiet at night.
Apr 15, 2023 · Joy SeekerThis is a great place to stay, close to Sikeston/Miner. Not far from Lambert's. Reasonable rates. Lots of shade trees makes it alot cooler, unlike another park closer to Interstate 55 which has no trees! Fairly quiet, except for noise from the steel plant across the road. Great for overnights or long term!!! The Manager Bob is very nice!
May 16, 2023 · Levi SehieThis little park is fine for a one night stop, where you just need a level gravel parking spot with a hookup. But don’t expect more than that. No picnic tables, fire rings, playground or ambiance. Rather neglected, worn out signs, worn out fence, upside down 55 gallon drums used to weatherproof the electric hookups. Many worn out RVs but spaces were fairly tidy. Friendly man at the office, doubt he is the owner. 95% occupied by long term stays. Noisy steel plant across the road. Thank goodness, no night shift so it was quiet at 6pm. I peeked at the laundry but didn’t use. Two washers, two dryers with a folding table. My impression was that it was kept tidy. We paid $35 for one night.
